EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 16/03/2018 08:08

Frozen are you getting any RL support if DH can’t provide it?

Wishful that’s exactly how I feel.

Icky controlling aggressive nowt. I can’t actuslly see anything about him that would make him attractive.

desperatehousewife21 · 16/03/2018 11:47

Nick’s signature challenge had me in stitches Grin

desperatehousewife21 · 16/03/2018 11:47

Oops wrong thread!! As you were....

FoxyFoxFifty · 16/03/2018 12:00

So, was catching up with this as per my mums recommendation... pretty shocked to see my old hairdresser on national tv! Haven’t been to him since May last year so clearly a lot has happened since then...
He does a seriously good blow dry for what it’s worth Grin

FoxyFoxFifty · 16/03/2018 12:00

@desperatehousewife21 nicks signature was the best thing on tv for months Grin

desperatehousewife21 · 16/03/2018 12:12

foxyfoxfifty hahaha!

wednesdaygirl · 16/03/2018 15:25

Simon may have autisum or something as he has no emotional feelings at all

Tony needs to marry a man

Tom is a man child but rach is a snob

George is a idiot

EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 16/03/2018 15:58

Foxy did you get the feeling he was an utter twat while he was doing your hair? Grin

Wednesday I’m not sure about ASD but Simon doesn’t seem to realise that staying put means being there for emotional support not just sharing a bed.

FoxyFoxFifty · 16/03/2018 16:48

@everyone no tbh I liked him! Was quite interesting to talk too while he did my hair. His hair used to be much better as well- his current hair just makes me Confused. He has come across as totally bonkers one the programme though

FrozenMargarita17 · 16/03/2018 21:05

@EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic I don't really have anyone else. I've tried to talk to him about it but he's adamant it's the only way he can deal with it :(

EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 17/03/2018 13:06

Sounds a bit like my DH although he definitely does have ASD tendancies. Last year I had the ‘flu and he more or less left me to get on with it Sad

Have you tried the ante/postnatal board on MN and is that of any help? Smile

FluffyFlowerFace · 17/03/2018 14:34

Catching up on this. Rachel is annoying she wants a better lifestyle but doesn't want to work for it wtf? George is aggressive aswell he could do one with me!

EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 18/03/2018 08:44

Agree Fluffy. George seems to have no redeeming features whatsoever.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 18/03/2018 16:51

I've spent today binge watching the Australian version of this - so good!
Anyone else seen it?

Lorddenning1 · 18/03/2018 19:05

@BigSandyBalls2015 where and how do we watch this???

dingdongdigeridoo · 18/03/2018 19:28

George shouldn’t even be on reality tv. They don’t just have relationship troubles. It’s an abusive relationship.

Hairdresser guy wound me up. I think he’s controlling and punishing her for leaving in the past. Why stay with someone after they cancel the wedding and go back to mummy?

Rugby couple seem the most hopeful. I think once the kids grow up a bit and she gets her life back they will be ok. We’ve had a million threads with women in the same situation where DH gets to continue his life and the wife sacrifices all.

Rachel needs a bloody job. Even if she worked a couple of days at minimum wage they could run a car. He can do childcare during the day.

userxx · 18/03/2018 19:33

@Lorddenning1 looks like it's on all4 catch up.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 19/03/2018 09:09

Yes download the All4 app and its on there. The US version of the show is also on there.

BringMeTea · 19/03/2018 13:26

Agree with everyone about everything! Grin. George is a piece of shit. Please let Michelle leave him. Her life could be so so much better. Tony is a gay man and is clearly punishing Gemma for a historical misdemeanour. Gemma can’t live like that. She needs to get rid too.

Must have been awful for Nikki. Scary stuff to hear. Hope they can work things out. Tom and Rachel would probably be ok if she could start accepting him as he is.

The Australian one is better but this is still compelling.

userxx · 19/03/2018 19:41

@BigSandyBalls2015 well that's me sorted for the Easter weekend then 😈

BringMeTea · 19/03/2018 20:02

OMG! I have just binge watched (important research you understand) series 1 of the US version. I have travelled to both the US and Australia quite a lot. I have always felt much more at home in Aus. This show has really highlighted some of the reasons why. My God. The US one is unreal. The participants are weird. Example: one woman cries actual tears because her partner has had a drink with his oppo. The ‘psychologists’ goad participants who don’t seem to be reacting in a way they approve of. So weird!

Anyway, in summary. Totally watch all the series’ from everywhere but prepare to lol at the US version. Grin

theredjellybean · 20/03/2018 19:23

@bringmetea.. Oh no I am now Binge watching aussie one.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 20/03/2018 20:05

Redjellybean - what do you make of Brad!! 😳

theredjellybean · 20/03/2018 20:15

A real flipflop love bombing commitment phobe

Michelle I felt so sorry for... Basically if they sent her and her partner away on two weeks holidays then I am sure they'd be fine.
They seemed very typical of family with kids, not enough money etc.. And she was a sitting duck for developing or thinking she was developing feelings for some one else

dingdongdigeridoo · 20/03/2018 20:32

Just starting watching the US version. It definitely has a different tone. I feel like they're trying to make it seem like the swapped spouses might fall for/shag each other. I suppose they're trying to spice it up a bit!
