I agree with the Pp that the main issue in the relationships seem to be they want to go back to how they were before children..

I agree, a couple of weeks together without Work, kids, housework and the usual day to day stresses getting in the way is enough to help the majority of couples. I’m not sure how this switching would help any more long term.

I get the no kids, lovely setting = Romance, So why not go on a luxury holiday with their own partner to sort out their failing relationship? Because that's not such good/titillating TV!

We have an 'alpha' male, one who's unaffectionate and distant, one who's buggered off to his mums leaving two kids and a laid back unambitious one. (Although I can't quite find a big problem with the last one! I think it's awful his partner said his job is embarrassing, although I wouldn't want to be with someone with no drive at all)

I'm pretty sure that if they didn't do the swap thing and just sent couples on holiday without children it might improve their mood anyhow!

Rachel offered up switching beds after 1 week.

I'm watching this against my better judgement, as I think the concept is ridiculous, but I find it strangely captivating.

I agree with the pp that the men seem to be the ones causing the problems.

Felt really sorry for Gemma following the phonecall. He wasn't listening to her at all.

I've just watched it and I can't help wonder what sort of person does this type of 'experiment' as for Tony what a spoilt man child he is. He's clearly used to speaking for them both so I hope Genma finds her balls and tells him to piss off.
