Anyone else watching this now?

I felt that there was more to the simon/Nikki story than met the eye. Perhaps something quite extreme happened that wasn't mentioned on the show that explains the rift between them.
I wondered whether he struggled with the cameras too, and talking openly about feelings in front of them, although he did seem more able to with Gemma.

I wondered whether Simon was inhibited by the cameras also. Maybe he was more relaxed with Gemma because he was in holiday mode then, and the conversations were more general and less personal.

Yes I think Simon may be shy. My DP would massively clam up talking about those sorts of things with counsellors let alone on front of cameras! The others seemed okay with the cameras.

Possibly also in Simon’s defence (and despite my previous comment about him) he was aware of saying too much given that he’s a teacher?
