There's no age limit to foster.

I looked up fostering age. While is no upper limit it’s says “some people Foster into their 70s it does say you have to be “fit and well to care long term”. So even if they are now 75-80 and have a 6 y old it’s unlikely in next 10y they are still going be for enough to be running around after a teenager. Could understand themhaving an older teenager. Auntie looks like struggles to cross the road.

You can choose to be either short term or long term foster carers. I imagine Massods senior have chosen to be short-term carers, i.e. taking children for 1 or 2 years whilst the council finds the child a long term placement. Make sense to me - never struck me as odd that they might be carers. Seems perfectly reasonable.

What struck me as slightly odd was moving house whilst caring for a child. Presumably moving a large distance (where were they living before?). And the council / fostering agency not thoroughly checking the house out beforehand to make sure it's safe and suitable.

The Brannings are a complicated lot. Bianca and carol jackson, ( nee Branning , her mum) had children by different dads. Bianca took Whitney under her wing although she wasnt her daughter but was one of her ex's daughter.

Lily is Whitneys neice. Her brother ryan is lilys dad. Martin is uncle by former marriage to Tiffany! They should do a 'who do you think you are' on the Brannings and Butchers.
