It would be sad to think that Bernie has got to her age not being able to read, but it does happen - maybe she was always pulling sickies, might have had to move schools when they moved out of the flats or any number of reasons she slipped through the net. Karen was too busy with the other children to help her or realise what was going on.
I know its a match made in hell etc, but I am pleased Tiff wants to know her ( despite the fact she is younger and most teens dont like hanging around with younger teens) as Lou and Bex were horrible to her around the prom time last year and she felt rejected by them. saying that, i bet they will have a huge barney now and it wont last!
