It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

I was musing about Carrie's apparent unemployment, is anyone actually paying Carrie? Does she have a private income that allows her to be an unpaid volunteer spy?

I dont know how Carrie thinks she can fool people she is a different person when she wears a bit of lippy, different trouser suit and a dark wig - she walks the same, her gait is the same.

Do we think Carrie is ill? Listening to that stabby jazz music and pure obsession with her "work" certainly indicates that she is. It's hard to tell the difference between her personality traits and her illness, tbh. As her sister says, the way she is behaving better be her illness.

Are we all ready for Episode 2? I'm slightly distracted by the forthcoming Snowmageddon and have just made DH go out to a garage and buy more kindling. Carrie wouldn't let such trifles distract her.
