It's that Homeland time of year again

It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

Yay, thread found. Although with no Quinn, what is the point? Of anything!

I've watched it last Friday, but I'm looking forward to watching it again with your comments tonight. You always notice some little things that I miss.

Today's the day! Can we call it St Saul's Day? I have snacks, I have wine.

I'd forgotten all about Aileen the terrorist and her ingenuity with a pair of glasses.

There are quite a lot of Saints whose day it is: Simon, Angelibert, Agatha Lin, Fra Angelico, Charalampias, Colman of Lindisfarne, Flavian of Constantinople, Gertrude Caterina Comensoli, Bl. John Pibush, Leo&Paregorias, Lucius, Bl Martin, Maximus, Theotonius and Bl William Harrington.

Incant bloody remember anything of last season. I dont know whether this will impair my enjoyment or not.

I am also firmly in the Saul is Bad camp. He's playing the (extremely) long game.

Series 1: He whispers in the ear of the thug who tortured Brodie in Iraq and later on.....the thug has managed to kill himself with a fragment of a razor blade. Remember? He's not who Carrie thinks he is. That'll be the ultimate tragedy of Homeland IMO.

On another note, i can't imagine Homeland without Peter . Love Max though......and whatever happened to Virgil?

And no, I don't know what happened to Virgil either. He was such a good character.

I lurked last year so hope you don’t mind me joining in. I saw it on Thursday on RTE so looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks!

Also just found Homeland and binge watched the 6 series...it won't be the same without Quinn.

Awful seeing him that way but amazing what he did to uncover the plot. Gutted he died

I have the option of watching the Portuguese Eurovision selection semi-finals or Homeland for the second time.

After a crap song about Australia (I think they meant it ironically) and another that sounds like an immitation of another singer, here I am watching the President's interference with the justice system... Where did they get that idea from?
