It feels so long ago that poor Weaselly Quinn met his maker that I had to Wiki what happened last season. We were left with an easily-led Madame President, an assassination plot, Saul in prison, Quinn dead in a Jeep and Carrie's distraught face working on overtime.

But it's back! Feb 11th US which I reckon means Feb 18th UK (although last year Channel 4 didn't tell us till about a minute before kick-off, despite my pathetic emailing). . Yay!

My subtitles were running ahead of the dialogue for a bit there. Very confusing and frustrating!

Last week after Beardy told Ivan ‘things are different now, there are no rules’ the first item on the following news was comparing current Russian activity and data misuse to the Cold War, and the journalist used the exact same phrases as Ivan and Beardy.

I remember thinking the same when the episode where the al Quaeda took over the embassy and hung their flag on the building. It was the episode where Fara was killed. A very similar event was happening IRL that very week. It was spooky.

Have just watched it, will need to watch back to see how the lawyer managed to hand Dante the pen, think he took it out of his inside pocket. Poor Saul, feel sorry for him, things have just not been going his way

The poisoning of Dante has to be the most reckless thing ever. How come Saul was horrified at the illegal surveillance carried out by Carrie and Max and co but then agrees to deny Dante a real lawyer and poison/ torture him ?!!

Beardy has really stitched them up.The People will now suspect the President of witness tampering, and that the President had her ‘disappeared ‘.

I wonder if someone switched the poison.

Will this series have a proper ending or will it be a cliffhanger?
