New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

I thought Jac and Fletch were going to get jiggy but nothing seems to be happening there ....... I am not keen on Nurse of the year Donna I bet she made that mistake and is denying it . I am not keen on Rick either though so......

I reckon Dylan (? Drug lord in nick) will have a medical emergency possibly from an undiagnosed condition, Ric will save his life using make shift, A Team-Esque tools and he'll be off the hook.

Am watching it. Without too many expectations

I hated the prison scenes this week too.
I fast forwarded through them. They were just grim and I don't really like Rick enough to care.

I love Jack and Fletch I hope they just stay friends though, it will all end up being spoilt if they get together.

I cant wait until Freida omes back she's one of my all time favourites.

What did I miss with Ollie's feet?

They were big and very hairy.

I like the tension of nothing having happened between Jac and Fletch who looks hot in a suit

I have a monumental Fletch-in-a-suit crush. I think it’s the slim fit shirt that really sets me off

I've just caught up with Holby and was also quite horrified at seeing Oliver's feet!! Thankfully though we only saw them for 30 seconds and then we could get back to focusing on his beautiful so no long term damage done

I wish they'd kept Zosia in it for longer, it seemed odd that she would just go again. I also found it very strange how un-bothered Oliver's mom was about Zosia deserting him in such circumstances.....I would have thought she'd hit the roof!

The prison scenes were all a bit Shawshank Redemption and nothing we haven't seen 100 times before so I found it all a little boring.

I'm hoping Ric's time in jail isn't going to monopolise every episode! It's Holby I want to see, not HMP.

Well tonight's episode was a bit sort of all over the place ... or is that just my tired brain and general lack of concentration coming into play?

It was like several episodes stitched badly together. Like Jac’s wound.

I'm glad in these pressured days for the NHS, top consultants have time to wander across the country to known centres of excellence to check that they are all set up to receive a patient on transfer, especially when that patient is being transferred to the wrong speciality. A chink of light in the gloom around the future of our health service.

Ive only seem half last nights episode but I'm wondering is Effie going to use the money for IVF? Didn't Raf have IVF with ex wife so Are they going to announce he had frozen sperm or some other such nonsense???

Can’t say I would have donated the inheritance money - I’d have spent it getting the hell out of Holby. The death toll is frightening.

They wouldn't allow Essie to have Raf's frozen sperm even if there was some, I can't see it being considered very ethical seeing as he's not around to consent to it

If they make it so that Essie is already pregnant it will be such lazy writing and such a cliche and obvious storyline.
