New year, new thread! Looking forward to tonight's episode ...

Gawd. These episodes need to come with a health warning.
It’s been years since I’ve watched anything so chilling.

Ugh, horrible.

I was so hoping Mr Self would burst into and save Roxanna.

I'm both bored of the story and rather disturbed.

I don't like Essie but I hope he doesn't try and blame it on her for pushing her too hard at the "critical time"

Any ideas what Roxanna was spelling out to Essie and Meena before Gas-Kill intervened? Did he dispose of the notebook Essie was writing the letters down on? I suppose it's too much to hope that given the status of the monitors and the CPR/shocking they did she could in some way be revived?

That was the most horrific thing I’ve seen on TV for a while. It was so calculated and so breath-takingly cruel. The thought that she knew, and was scared, and utterly powerless was heartbreaking. And when she was desperately blinking “no” when Essie and Meena decided to fetch Gaskell.

Unbelievably disturbing.

I thought she was spelling out ‘police’

I have just watched last week’s episode and the one from tonight and Jesus it was chilling. Stuff of nightmares.

I also felt unnerved when she kept blinking no when they were going to get Gaskill, it was awful. And then when she cried those tears at the end because she knew she was going to die....it was just horrific.

I too have been wracking my brains as to what she could have been trying to spell that starts with the letters PO so police is a good guess. I too fear that Gaskill will make Essie be a scapegoat.

I wonder what it is that he injected her with? Surely her post mortem would show up anything dodgy if not discover the band in her brain that Gaskill left there? Unless of course Holby comes up with a reason for her to not need a post mortem which I’m sure they will. My guess is that HH will want one and Gaskill will manage to talk him out of it...

I have to say that Jac was looking very pretty tonight. I loved it when Mikey called her Jacula

I know I’m in the minority but I really can’t stand Patrenko, or whatever her name is. I find her character so irritating, arrogant and smug.

Can’t wait to see how this all unravels......

She won’t survive. Gaskill knew what he was doing and wouldn’t have taken the risk of her being able to be revived so whatever he gave her he knew it would kill her without any possible chance of her being saved.

How clever of you to figure out that PO was for police. Stupidly, I was thinking it was "possibly a surgical error (which would have taken about half an hour to spell out and probably killed Roxanna with the effort).

I am so glad l came here to see what happened because l really didn't like the ending of last week when she was locked in , horror of horrors. I won't be watching this weeks episode now , l know it is a cop out but arggghhhh!

I wondered if she was spelling out Prof and they just didn't show the R to throw us off the scent!! Even if he's got rid of that board surely Essie will remember what it said!!!
