The bite was supposed to indicate a sexual crime or sexual involvement.

The father said his daughter didn’t really love the guy she married. Maybe because she was gay ?

But we are supposed to think Bancroft ha a thing for the husband but actually it was the wife.

Knew she’d turn up there. I think she was having an affair with him so thought if she killed her he’d go to her.

This is so stupid but I love it. The bit when she stepped out of the lift and dramatically threw back her hood like a pantomime villain had me howling with laughter.

A couple of times ive got the sense that they hinting towards lesbian attraction. The scene in ep1 when blonde detective is tending to Bancrofts injury was the first instance.

Could be nothing though! I am disapointed with this. It has been tense at times but i was expecting more of a mystery. None of the characters particularly likeable, apart from the forensic scientist lady, she seems nice!

That’s kind of what made me think as well. She’s also seeing the murder victim in Stevens. Which is creepy.

And the scene where she asked before the funeral “How do I look ?” And Stevens fiddled with her clothes was a bit bizarre as well.

Mind you so is taking your employee back to your house for pizza and trying to set them up with your son.

Awful programme, really dull. But I want to know what happens now so will keep watching
Did anyone notice the continuity error when Stevens got a strike but there was still a pin standing up?

It's annoying me that Stevens and the murder victim have such similar hair.

Both quite high maintenance hair too - so Stevens spends the time boofing and curling her hair every morning?!

I think it's deliberate that DS Stevens looks a bit like the victim, so that Bancroft gets all weird over her. I agree with the lesbian subtext comments too- I wondered about that when Bancroft told her that Stevens was passed over for the team because she would stand out, being a pretty young woman.

I have to say that I'll be disappointed if they go down the whole psychotic lesbian route though- it's a very lazy and unpleasant trope.

Yes- I find it rather odd that a qualified physiotherapist (that's his job, isn't it?) can't afford his own place in the north of England. Especially if he complains of his mother sabotaging his relationships. Big drip.
