So far so good... seems to be trying to be Scott & Bailey, which could be a good thing

She looked a lot nicer without whatever she's had done

If I’m being honest I don’t think she looks bad as such. Just there was something niggling at me.

But I have recently started to notice how many actresses (and some actors) have had work done. And it’s a lot. I think nearly all the women I’ve seen in things recently over 30 have had something done.

I am enjoying it but spent at least one third of the programme wondering how on earth it linked in to the Hatton Garden robbery 😂

Surely we know who dunnit ? It was Bancroft, and she killed the retired cop, so he wouldn't investigate it.

I didnt recognise her. I knew that I'd seen her in various things but I was at a loss as to what. The voice was very familiar and so was the face but her face looks completely different. I had to google who she was and what she'd been in. I was shocked when I realised who she is. Her face is extremely chiseled, her teeth seem to large for her mouth and her lips seem stuck. Whatever she's had done has been done very badly and it saddens me to see a very attractive woman doing this to herself.

Is it just me or does Sarah Parish look totally different? Whats8with her mouth?? She looked as if she had lost alot of weight and it changed fer face. I think she has always had a distinctive mouth/teeth but look out of proportion with how thin her face is. I thought it was very aging to be honest. I wasn't sure it was her at first.

I kept wondering how Steve Evets, who plays the murdered girl's dad, could possibly be old enough!! He's 58 in real life, the murder was 27 years ago which would have made him 31, his daughter was at least 20 years old so he would have had to have been a dad at 11!!! He should be much older to have had a daughter murdered 27 years ago.

Finding it all a bit rubbish but I will watch it! Sarah Parish has definitely had something done to her lips but she is still very striking.

And I think they had the dad looking scruffy etc to age him.

And the sepia tinged scenes had cars in the shots that I am sure were a lot older than the 1990s.

You're right, the cars were very old fashioned, more like the 70s.
Dad would have to be at least 67 if his daughter was 20 and he was a dad at 20, poor Steve Evets doesn't look that old!!

I' so disappointed if she is a bent copper and it's revealed in the first episode.

It's either sleight of hand and she's innocent (in which case they've gone too far with their narrative trickery for me) or she's a bit more than "bent". That poor retired cop in his wheelchair. Not even allowed his last few months

tho the blonde detective doing the coldcase does look like laura,could she be her daughter?

I really enjoyed it. I did think Stevens looked like the murdered girl.

Honestly this really is complete shit!! And they won’t work out that she was one of the few people who knew where the lost forensics was.

Is it just me, or is this already ridiculous? Bancroft goes to see the old detective, presumably not planning to kill him and therefore not covering her tracks, he's dead the same day (did she wheel him off with glasses vet's on?), and now she's going into a building full of cctv to nick the forensics? WTF?

Do they have no alarms or internal keycodes/security pass swipe doors?

Christ, the doctor is going to get bumped off now, isn't she?

Ofcourse not. That would be sensible.
