So far so good... seems to be trying to be Scott & Bailey, which could be a good thing

She looked a lot nicer without whatever she's had done

Fishfingersandwichnocheese · 11/12/2017 23:01

If I’m being honest I don’t think she looks bad as such. Just there was something niggling at me.

But I have recently started to notice how many actresses (and some actors) have had work done. And it’s a lot. I think nearly all the women I’ve seen in things recently over 30 have had something done.

I am enjoying it but spent at least one third of the programme wondering how on earth it linked in to the Hatton Garden robbery 😂

cherrycola2004 · 11/12/2017 23:06

Enjoyed it looking forward to tomorrow

VivaLeBeaver · 11/12/2017 23:17

I enjoyed it. Interested to know who dunnit.

redshoeblueshoe · 12/12/2017 00:09

Surely we know who dunnit ? It was Bancroft, and she killed the retired cop, so he wouldn't investigate it.

*Is it just me or does Sarah Parish look totally different? Whats8with her mouth??

I didnt recognise her. I knew that I'd seen her in various things but I was at a loss as to what. The voice was very familiar and so was the face but her face looks completely different. I had to google who she was and what she'd been in. I was shocked when I realised who she is. Her face is extremely chiseled, her teeth seem to large for her mouth and her lips seem stuck. Whatever she's had done has been done very badly and it saddens me to see a very attractive woman doing this to herself.

VivaLeBeaver · 12/12/2017 06:32

I’m expecting a twist of some sort.

grannytomine · 12/12/2017 12:03

Is it just me or does Sarah Parish look totally different? Whats8with her mouth?? She looked as if she had lost alot of weight and it changed fer face. I think she has always had a distinctive mouth/teeth but look out of proportion with how thin her face is. I thought it was very aging to be honest. I wasn't sure it was her at first.

I kept wondering how Steve Evets, who plays the murdered girl's dad, could possibly be old enough!! He's 58 in real life, the murder was 27 years ago which would have made him 31, his daughter was at least 20 years old so he would have had to have been a dad at 11!!! He should be much older to have had a daughter murdered 27 years ago.

Finding it all a bit rubbish but I will watch it! Sarah Parish has definitely had something done to her lips but she is still very striking.

RosyWelshcakes · 12/12/2017 16:32

I’m finding it rubbish as well.

And I think they had the dad looking scruffy etc to age him.

UrsulaPandress · 12/12/2017 16:40

And the sepia tinged scenes had cars in the shots that I am sure were a lot older than the 1990s.

Janus · 12/12/2017 17:21

You're right, the cars were very old fashioned, more like the 70s.
Dad would have to be at least 67 if his daughter was 20 and he was a dad at 20, poor Steve Evets doesn't look that old!!

eloisesparkle · 12/12/2017 18:24

I' so disappointed if she is a bent copper and it's revealed in the first episode.

Battleax · 12/12/2017 18:27

"Bent"? Grin

It's either sleight of hand and she's innocent (in which case they've gone too far with their narrative trickery for me) or she's a bit more than "bent". That poor retired cop in his wheelchair. Not even allowed his last few months Sad

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/12/2017 19:27

i enjoyed,is it too obvious that she is the killer

tho the flashbacks confused me,doesnt take much Grin

tho the blonde detective doing the coldcase does look like laura, could she be her daughter?

LaGattaNera · 12/12/2017 19:31

I really enjoyed it. I did think Stevens looked like the murdered girl.

Fishfingersandwichnocheese · 12/12/2017 21:20

Her mouth looks stretched that’s what it is.

Looks like she did kill that officer though.

Janus · 12/12/2017 21:33

Honestly this really is complete shit!! And they won’t work out that she was one of the few people who knew where the lost forensics was.

BitOfFun · 12/12/2017 21:34

Is it just me, or is this already ridiculous? Bancroft goes to see the old detective, presumably not planning to kill him and therefore not covering her tracks, he's dead the same day (did she wheel him off with glasses vet's on?), and now she's going into a building full of cctv to nick the forensics? WTF?

BitOfFun · 12/12/2017 21:36

Do they have no alarms or internal keycodes/security pass swipe doors?

BitOfFun · 12/12/2017 21:37

Christ, the doctor is going to get bumped off now, isn't she?

Fishfingersandwichnocheese · 12/12/2017 21:37

Ofcourse not. That would be sensible.

TinselCrack · 12/12/2017 21:37

This could either be great, or utter shite. Staying tuned for now...

BitOfFun · 12/12/2017 21:38

Handy she found the only trolley on swivel wheels which don't move at all right next to the non-alarmed fire door, eh?
