Think JWB will tear up again. After all Josh will be waiting for Lauren in Glasgow (but should return now) and Fi was starting to question daddy dearests motives throughout her life.

Max can gain some sympathy points by going off for some treatment for his mental illness, maybe, or he can help stop the development plans. I never thought he'd leave and still don't.

Aidan too is dodgy.

Yes I agree The80. Aidan's original plan seems to have disappeared, now he is supposedly organising 'a job' or whatever he called it but is spending his time tormenting Mick. Where is he supposed to be living? n the plus side, he has brought 'gangster' back to EE and that makes it interesting. I prefer those storylines to ones of everyday dreariness.

I think Stacey will blame herself because her last words to Max were that he should have fallen off the roof, not Bradley. In her mind she will think Max went up there because of what she said and so everything that followed was her fault.

Aidan is working for Brown maybe? Hence his torment of mick? Who knows. I didn’t see the roof thing coming - I know nothing.

The carters have to be out of the pub 3rd of january so I reckon the weyland thing will come to a head before then.

I was completely confused for the first 5 mins and couldn’t work out why Max was still in the house after his shenanigans with Stacey the evening before. The two of them parading around the kitchen with Martin and kids in the house was ridiculous.

How did Tania get into Martin and Stacey’s house? No-one let her in and she seemed to just suddenly appear in the kitchen doorway.

Laughed out loud at Phil taking the trouble to hide the guy (in a tea towel) but then waving it around in the middle of the square. No-one looked out of their windows at the sound of the gun going off.

Kathy is a terrible actress.

I only ever watch the Christmas Day episodes and today’s nonsense reminded me why!

Well Stacey will feel guilty because she said it should have been Max instead of Bradley so she might forgive him. Martin has been a saint, he has already accepted Stacey’s lies about Arthur surely he won’t put up with this too. I hate that they e done this to Stacey & Martin, they could have got the same outcome with Max declaring his love & Stacey turning him down

I found it odd though that in the minute it took Max to get back downstairs and to the front of the pub neither Stacey or Tanya were crying, or screaming, or leaning over Abbie and Lauren, shaking with them and pleading with them to wake up etc.

If I saw two of my children fall off a roof and hit the floor I don't think I would have been as quiet as Tanya was....

Eastie. You’ve missed the bins and food bank stories. There was loads going on this year ( bus crash, explosions) and this thread. Makes it all worth while.

I couldn't hear what Max was muttering all episode he just seemed to rub his head and say stace a lot.

I had sub titles on. There was a lot of ‘Stacey. Let’s talk about it’ going on. The sentences are very short.

I also think Phils stray bullet might have hit someone we didn’t see - there must be a reason the gun went off

Oh how bad was that? Let's kill off two young women in front of their mother one mother of a toddler whose stepdad was killed by his grandpa the other pregnant with stepdads baby???

Stacy is an idiot who needs a slap.

I was trying to guess who was going to be killed off all through the episode, and the only ones I didn't want it to be were Max or Stacey. Their characters are too good to kill off. Abi and/or Lauren, I think we can all live without.

I can live without Max Tbh

I think he's one of the only good characters on the show.

Max is a tortured soul. He really has nothing now and nobody. He should have jumped. Unless Stacey takes pity I can’t see where he can go now.
