My guess is he's left her a lot more than just the Cafe in his Will. Money? The Queen Vic? All his other enterprises? Who knows.

I thought the Carter’s did pay the £60K and when they confronted W-B about it he said they can’t get it back because of some charges?

Part of the plot holes has been money. They original sold lease for like £35k -£10k for MIL - £15k dog operation and rest for roof repairs. The new £60k was for fake repairs to make them leave. Yet the new total is £140k?? If that’s the price they original got then what happened to the spare £100k?

It wasn’t explained what all extras doing in boardroom? With her uncle? Imagine she bribed company to not bring it down with fraud if he agreed to give back car and sell back the pub. Though surely know they couldn’t afford the price.

Max has the time to drive fi around (and proclaim love, didn't take him long to get over Stacey. At least fi knocked him back), but none to go and see Lauren?

They tried to pay it back but were told £50k wasn't enough and Fi denied all knowledge of saying she'd negotiated a £10k discount. Nothing much more was said about it but Linda did say something about it being a nest egg to start them off elsewhere as I'm sure there were posts here saying they couldn't keep the crowd funded money.

Unless they had to pay it in a later episode that I don't remember?

Yes, money has been a very big plothole over the past few months, from the pub to Karen's income.

(I think someone from EE does read this thread because now they've got Kandice spouting about Karen's 'poor decisions' as opposed to having her living in inexplicable poverty.)

Keanu and the scratchcard was also very poor. 'Decimal point' my arse. Stupid plot device involving Keanu having his brain removed.

Soup they did pay the £50k, when JWB told them it wasn’t enough Mick said he wanted that money back & JWB sad they were keeping it to cover admin.

I loved Keegan look of exasperation ,between the " proper presents" buying and Keanu showing up with scratch cards, he's increasingly realizing his family is thick as mince.

Can they save the baby? Max has already offered to do night feeds.

It’s odd that noones mentioned the baby at all. Surely if someone told you your 7m pregnant daughter was Brain dead you would ask what the plan was? At very least they would said but the baby is fine.

I can’t believe they got Tanya back but only for long enough to see them fall off the roof, I’m sure they could have paid the actress a few quid extra & filmed some of the hospital scenes, as if she’d let Max make decisions about Abi’s care on his own. If she is dead will Tanya also miss the funeral?

I’m sure they will say she had to rush back for an Oscar emergency that was greater than her daughter dying!

Why didn’t Tanya ring Ian after she spoke to Jane? You’d think it might have crossed their minds esp when they thought everyone knew anyway after her voicemail to Stacey. Or did they think ah well now everyone knows everything but isn’t it a bit odd that nobody tried to find Jane or left messages with Christian to pass on or at least got the police involved?

So many plot holes and too many missing characters! I did laugh when Kandice ( whatever Karen’s sister is called) mentioned her bra strap though. She looks annoying - reached for the stars and got there I think ( judging by the car and money ) but I bet she ends up living in Walford! Why didn’t she ask them in the house?

Soooo many plot holes. Also totally unrealistic that Aidan would be stalking Mick, determined to get him involved in the ‘job’ and then continuing to stalk him for not showing ‘respect.’ Aidan is phil’s former cell mate, and even they haven’t seen each other for years so why would Aidan fixate on getting Mick in on it

As an aside, EE is crying out for a strong female character. Stacey and Whitney are cut from the same cloth- the neediness is dripping off them and they jump in to bed with any Male who casts a look in their direction. Meanwhile Stacey is bleating about the hardship of having to wrap presents bought with the money Martin brings in

kandice looks to be in the same mould as Belinda - airheads who bag a guy as a meal ticket to provide hot tubs and beauty treatments. Kim has more personality to her but is also in the meal ticket mould

The few attempts to portray women as having ‘serious’ jobs are laughable.... alcoholic Lauren bagging a creative role but only popping into work for 5 mins here and there, one-GCSE Denise landing a job with the council but spending most days popping round to Kim’s. Carmel who clearly has few skills and has been a housewife for a million years til she got dumped for a younger model also lands a council job where she has access to important information but only seems to pop into work between shagging Max or having another bottle of wine in the Vic.

Ok I know it’s not real but honestly, the portrayal of women is really disheartening!

Donna seems to be the only woman not hopping in and out of beds and depending on a man for a job. And Linda too I suppose but she is very dependant on Miiiiiick.

What is Sharon’s job? And what does Phil do for money?

Sharon was running the Albert for a while wasn’t she? Not that you’d have noticed.

What about Super Son? She's probably the most independent woman in Walford

I don't know what's realistic for a gangster, but I'm presuming that unless Mick is on in it himself, he could go to the police and land them in it.
