I think Stacey will take pity (as well as blame herself) and they'll end up together. Stacey and Martin has never made sense anyway, he was just "there".

Roxy and Ronnie both left children behind. They died because one of them was on drugs and the other trying to help her. The fact that they made it 'look nice' doesn't make it any less tragic for me.

Max is one of the best characters because he’s three-dimensional. Jake Wood is great playing him.

This was less fluffy than R and R. Too many orphaned children though I agree.

I have a feeling Abi won't survive :(

I think that Lauren might survive, they have always seemed to prefer Lauren over Abbie, surprised with that ending. I’m curious to see how Max will be.
Really annoyed at how Stacey is throwing her relationship with Martin away, it’s come out of nowhere and it’s a real shame. She’s only just had a baby ffs. Felt a bit queasy when Max whispered i’m irresistible to her

I laughed at Phil beating max up - errrrrm really? I also wondered if the whole Aiden storyline was just a way of getting Phil a gun (also wondered if someone had caught that ricocheted bullet). I've seen no spoilers at all also and my money's on Abby dying and Lauren surviving but going to live with Tanya. Jay will struggle at handling Abbie's funeral I'm guessing. Tanya will tell police max killed Steven and get him arrested and max will take his own life in custody. The wilmott-brown Weyland thing will be sorted by fi who obviously now believes Kaffy. Really don't care about Mock and Linda or the heist story anymore. Merry Christmas everyone

That episode has actually annoyed me. Such a rip off from last year to kill 2 sisters at Christmas again. And for them to fall off the same roof as their brother. Is Tanya going to bury Max again tomorrow? Or maybe Mick will serve L with divorce papers "my sweet" or made up rhyming slang, my tinselled treat. Plus Stace having a complete personality change in a week. And all this bringing back old characters,FFS, it's getting so lazy no one can write a new character.

I remember one of the old threads, at the time of his affair with Stacey, Max was described as a giant prawn.
I'm away at the moment so haven't watched. I'm that Lauren and Abby are both, probably, dead! How ludicrous that sounds.
I intend to skip over the vow renewal scenes. Mock and Linda are in part a recycled Alfie and Kat (how many times did they renew, and they were married on Christmas day). The vow renewal stuff, is dull, pointless and lazy writing.

Max is unfortunate in that he can be bald and ginger at once.

I'm leaning toward both sisters surviving, although Abbie loses the baby. I think they want us to think they'll happily kill off another pair of sisters, just like they did with Ronnie and Roxy. Like a PP, my money is on someone being killed by that bullet ricochet- possibly Fi? She told JWB she had plans, a visit to see Max maybe?

Funny someone mentioned ricocheted bullet. I thought I saw someone hiding in the shadows but later the shot showed a reef on the door.

What was scarily accurate about last nights episode was the weather matched what was actually going on outside! (Here anyway - south coast!)

Lauren and Abi both survive. Lauren goes to Glasgow, Abi looses the baby and is unable to ever have one again and goes to live with Tanya.

Martin puts the Stacey/Max thing down to Bi polar Christmas stress and ignores it all.

Max gets hits by a car being erratically driven by Fi and dies.

Sounds fair enough jolly not as far fetched as you probably think it is EE nothing is off limits.
