Martin and Stacey's money worries have completely disappeared despite a) moving from a tiny flat to a large house b) all of Stacey's relatives moving out c) their live in babysitter moving out d) having a new baby who needs expensive medical equipment.

The babysitting thing is really puzzling/irritating me. Who was minding Lily and Arthur tonight and Will and Janet who is just out of hospital. Not Tina, not Bex or Louise, not Carmel, not Sonia, not Dot. Just where do they all find these mysterious babies and how do they pay for them? Do people really pay babysitters just to pop to their local for a couple of drinks?

I thought it was a good scene with Phil Kathy and Ben, made all the better since she had avoided using the word rape in the scene with WB.

I know this isn't a current storyline as such (yet), but I'm still completely confused by Whitney and Woody.

You have to be married for a year before you can start divorce proceedings - there is no way around that, and an anulment hasn't been mentioned, nor would it even be possible in Lee & Whitney's case.

I know it's off topic, but it really, really angers me, that the writers can ignore the law so blatantly. That's without even mentioning Phil's approval by SS to look after Lexi, and all the other untruths they spout.

Whit did get divorce papers though didn't she? They seem to have been married on 4/11/16 but I'm sure she got the papers a while back. Odd.

Soup she signed them when Lee sent them to her, but in reality Lee wouldn't have been able to even instigate divorce, or obtain papers.

I think a safari supper is where the different courses are eaten in different people's homes, so you might be doing the starter, The80s and when that course is finished you all come round to mine for the main course, after which we bowl round to nancy's for pud and end up at Blondes' for coffee and petit fours (other middle class sweeties are available).

Nancy, we could write our own sitcom and become an overnight sensation - a comedy about people who are addicted to reality / eastenders type shows and how they overcame their inner demons and learnt how to avoid! A kind of ' fat friends' for 2017.
