You could be right there, bea - he's almost burnt all his boats now (just Steven's death and Matthew's departure to own up to?) and is obviously very disturbed. Suicide hasn't been done for a while on EE, either.

i don't get the forgery threat. Shirley forged Mick's signature right? And Weyland are threatening them with that? Why doesn't Mick just say "yes that's my signature, I signed it. I had wrist cramp so it looks a bit squiffy but it was definitely me..."?

Maybe there were witnesses when Shirley forged the signature? Not sure. Feels like ages ago now.

Fab episode tonight. Jake Wood and Jocelyn Jossa out acted the other pair by a country mile. Embarrassing really. The high point was definitely Max telling Abbie that she is carrying "that Beale grat, that thing..." I watched it twice back-to-back. I could happily watch it again too.

Yes did feel sorry for Abi when he said that, not like Ian gives a stuff. While Lauren lives rent n bill free and live in childcare (but moaning on about supporting her son all by herself!) then poor Abi probable going be thrown out of house share.

Jake was very good but I couldn't help laughing at some of their shouting scenes.

That was brilliant. Brilliant to give Lauren a real voice at long last. Max and Lauren were brilliant. Abi too. I love the Abi character. She portrays vulnerability and multiple faces simultaneously. Jack can act as we saw when Ronnie died, they just need to be given the right scripts and opportunities.

The forged signature is a bit of a non story. There weren’t any witnesses. How could there have been!

I hope Max is staying. Someone upthread sad there is no comeback after this but look at everything Janine did and always came back.

Max has lost everything. Not to bothered about kids and no Fi or money. Apart from possible jumping off pub what will he do? Only can mess up pub or burn everything in square down. He now has fight WB gang and all the square.

She was the one sent by Daddy to lurk around in order for them to sign it in the first place. I think we can assume that James knows its dodgy, but he just wants the pub so he isnt really that bothered by it all. Its all hazy, but thats what i sort of remember! ( i could be wrong) a lot of the time JWB just bluffs and double bluffs. Will Luke turn up tonight? I would love to see Max in different clothes as well..
