I agree OhTinky about Jane - a good character - and a good actress quite family orientated despite spending significant amount of time on life support as a result of the Beale kids.

Its a very, very peculiar way to disappear though in a TV soap, perhaps unprecedented. Surely the scriptwriters will not leave it at that . Maybe she will re-appear a decade later and it will all have been a dream ... or she met a sheep farmer in the Travelodge bar and her whole life was changed ...

I’m obsessed with the Vic freehold. They sold it, paid a vets bill, got the roof fixed & now there’s nothing left? Do the sold what must be a million pounds worth of building for about £30k? I did google pub freeholds, even out of London you can’t but anything for £30k!

They did forge Mick's signature too , maybe this will save the day for them as the whole thing wasn't legal ? we are all at a loss as to why they sold it on so cheaply and where the left over money went, but the writers appear to gloss over the facts and its all very hazy.

i agree, Jane deserved a lot better than that send off - maybe the actress has had enough of crap writing and being beaten around by Bobby and decided enough was enough. who knows.

I think Jane leaving is a massive double bluff and she'll be back at Christmas with some Max-revenge revenge plot.

yep, they were sold down the river on that deal - all done to pay off the massive debts they had, so i can sympathise a little bit ( they were desperate)

Has Jane really left? Other people who are leaving know months beforehand and it leaks maybe because they give interviews to the media Surely she will be there when Bobby is released from prison which will be in a few months. Jane was one of the better ones in it. They might as well get rid of Shirley, Ian, Stacey, Martin, Abi and Phil and be done with it. - every single decent actor in the soap will be gone.

Its not a spoiler if sitting in a B&B or a bedsit was her final scene as she has already gone.

Why couldn't they at least have shown her partying with Christian instead of sitting in a small room, barely able to walk, without either the man or son she deary loved. They didn't even play the duff duff music for her which they SHOULD have as she was very worthy of it..

Can you tell I'm really annoyed they let another brilliant actress leave.
