Yes I think Eugene's time is up, possibly also Gabriel or Dwight. Before this series I was pro Eugene and thought he would come good but he is def getting on my nerves now. It's weird because it is actually very realistic that he be filled with anxt and torn about what to do for the best, but it is still annoying!

I think I find his voice even more annoying than his mullet too!

I hate fucking Negon! I threaten my husband that if he kills one of the babies I'm never watching it again!!

Joking apart when nodding off to sleep I swear I have had walkers in my house 😂😂

I fear that every time I let the dog out after dark I might just be sending him to walker doom and I have to shut the door really quickly when he comes in in case one followed him to the door 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

I forgot about Dwight. I think Dwight will be in the next half of the season or will get offed just as Sherry turns up.

I've warmed to Dwight.

We know there's a death and we know there's a shock but do we know that the shock is WHO dies. Could it be that someone does die but the shocking scene is something else, or the shock i who kills them (e.g. Eugene killing an Alexandrian or something like that?

Is Dwight’s wife still around? Did she have to leave him and become one of Negan’s wives?

Dwights wife was one of Negan's wives, she helped Daryl escape and she also escaped but we don't know where she is, I think she left him a note in a cabin in the woods or something. This is part of why Dwight is now rebelling against the saviours.

TheGirl I didn't realise there was going to be a shocking death - Eugene or Gabriele wouldn't be that shocking. You are right, Eugene killing Rosita or someone would be shocking though.

Hmmm or the imprisoned saviours killing someone at the hilltop might be shocking but that would basically mean Jesus or Maggie. Gregory is prob going to talk them into doing something destructive.

After Glen, I don’t know if any other deaths can be shocking.
I’ll just take it in my stride.

There's been a lot of speculation that it might be Carl who dies because he's been spotted with a new haircut. But that doesn't mean anything to me, maybe Carl does the killing and cuts his hair for a new 'I'm a badass' image??

Live I agree Glenn's death was so awful nothing else will be as bad apart from maybe Rick's

I'd feel Carl, we have seen him grow up on TWD. He has also been through so bloody much the poor kid needs to sit about playing some xbox eating wotsits for a wee change.

I just think killing Carl when we haven’t seen much of him this season is a bit of a damp squib exit even if it happened super shockingly or a dramatic way. We haven’t seen him introducing Sidiq yet but I guess both those things could happen in one ep.

I don’t want it to be Edith. Don’t think it will be Rosita, she has a lot to give and given that Sasha was the last to go she’s too similar iyswim.

Maybe it will be that the walkers didn’t fully consume Shiva and she will come back as a half eaten zombie cat and eat Negan 😂

Despite last season we haven’t seen much Lucille action. I know it was shocking and don’t want the same death for another lead character but you’d think a minor or a background might get it or be found lucilled.

I don't know any major spoilers but from little bits and pieces I have seen on the internet it's unlikely to be Carl.

I hope it's not Carl, I'm not his biggest fan but I do want to see him kinda evolve and take charge more.
Bit of an anti climax if its Gabriel or Eugene because that would be to obvious, like others have mentioned. Anyhoo, found this season hard to get into somewhat so I hope it's a good one this week!

Carl’s death would have a huge impact on a lot of the other characters, especially so Rick.
Having thought about it, the only person who’s death would upset me is Judith’s.
I’d like to see a vengeful Negan. There’s no limits to what he and Lucille would stoop to. Hopefully not Judith.

They didn't actually say it was a death - just that something shocking that you wouldn't believe was going to happen. I don't think we'd find most deaths that shocking apart from Rick or Darryl...and that's not going to happen. It's 90 minutes as well next week.

I’m sure there will be a death or two though even if it’s not the shocking bit. We’re due one. Judith’s death would be shocking because of her age.

Although Negan is quite monstrous, he does have some ethics. For instance he is apparently anti-rape, so all his 'wives' were with him by choice, allegedly. Hmm ..... Well anyway, that's why I doubt anything would happen to Judith at the hands of him and his followers. Blimey I wish they'd kill him off though, he does so love the sound of his own voice. The Governor was a much more interesting villain.

Yes I think they said on TD that something shocking would happen, that's all.

I heard somewhere that they plan to carry on TWD for many more seasons. Although I have enjoyed it along the way, I wish they wouldn't. I agree with pps that it is sometimes dragging a bit now. I love the characters, but just want there to be some kind of happy ending one day, with maybe a cure for the zombification virus. I am deluding myself aren't I?
