Against most opinions I actually really enjoyed Monday’s ep! I agree the gun battle was boring (I even got mixed up which side was which ) and the tiger is a bit silly. However, some good character changes with Morgan back in killing mode (mostly). Even Jesus being an annoying twat makes for interesting differences of opinion in future. I loved it up to season 6, am still getting over the season 7 opener () and struggled through that whole season. Monday’s ep gave me hope I’ll love it all over again.

I agree cushion when I heard there was going to be a Tiger-I thought "oh no how silly"and the Trash people are annoying and add nothing to it for me.

Maybe the person could be Negan! We know nothing about what he did before the Break out..and did they say the character was one who had died? I KNOW this would not make sense but it would be cool if it was!!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the constant shooting of guns back and forth was bloody boring. Usually love TWD but not really feeling it so far.

I didn’t recognise Morales either. I just thought I vaguely remembered the family that left being Spanish.

I like Negan.I don't like some of what he's done but then again Rick doesn't always do the "right" thing.(Am I the only one who is starting to dislike Rick at times?)
I however can not see Rick beating anyones brains out with a Baseball bat-except Negans which is how he has to go surely!(I will be quite sad when the Day comes)

I don’t think you’re meant to like Rick the whole time. Like lots of tv shows these days they are creating more real protagonists in that way with different flaws rather than just the opposite sex. There is definitely a rise in programmes where the lead is not your favourite character.

Rick has had periods when he has benn very unlikable but thats part of the whole premisis isnt it?

Its not just about killing walkers. It was in the begining but as time goes on the dangers have changed and its people who are more dangerous now.

Its about what the whole world has gone to shit thing does to someone and how they respond to it. The pressure to keep everyone alive. The dealing with people who are out to take what you have got and being prepared to kill you for it. Watching friends and family die in horrific circumstances. Trusting people who might turn on you. No wonder he has cracked a few times. There comes a point when you would be prepared to do just about anything to keep your group alive and he has done and it has affected him. Nobody could go through that with that responsibility on their shoulders and not be changed.

I think what he said to Michonne about both of them leading together, and then Maggie that he would follow her shows he wants to step back after this fight. He doesnt want the responsibility forever. His 'dreams' show him a family man, not a leader, no gun, just Michonne and kids and a community celebration. Thats what he wants to return to, thats what he is fighting for right now. JMHO

Why is michonne, one of the best fighters, at home watering the plants?
Why is jesus such an idiot even after he was captured?
I think in the flash forward the little girl is Rick's granddaughter. Michonne looked much older but she just aged better than him

Oh yes and Maggie. I actually thought she must have lost the baby, that was ages ago. Glad she hasn't but surely she'd be better plant waterer than michonne..
I did spot some of the symbolism with out realising. When I saw the flowers I assumed it would be Rick's memory of hospital. And then when carl was out and about it reminded me of the first episode.
Why on earth did Gabriel not just leap on negan kicking and screaming? Or fling himself out to certain zombie death? Id choose that over listening to bobbin Robin witter on

Michonne and Rosita were both injured at the end of last season. Michonne said something about “Everything hurts” in ep 1.

No there's loads of action. Which usually means that episode 4 will drop back into boredom.

That was a better episode. Liking Daryl’s take no prisoners attitude. More like he was in the first couple of series.

Thought Aaron’s acting when Eric was shot and dying under the tree was a bit crap
