Goodness I've been so confused by this wilmot brown thing. Can I clarify: so the man at the end of last nights episode was the man who raped Kathy? Is it the same actor? I don't know the history, why would he want to own the whole square? 😂😂

hate, yes, its the same actor. Willmott brown had a club called the Dagmar - Kathy was the manager of the bar and Angie worked there too for a while ( when she split up with Dennis watts) Den torched this pub and the Albert is now in its place (years later of course) WB has been run out of town on two occasions ( he did come back in it for a while and was taken on by Phil then)
WB blames Kathy for the fact he ended up in prison for rape ( he denied that he did rape her, even after she confronted him ) and he wants his hands on the Vic because of the Dirty Den connections i suppose. Long time to harbour a grudge, but revenges is best served cold and all that. That pub has been central to so many feuds and murders.

He feels he's owed something. His original business didn't do well and then was torched then he was sent down for raping Kaffy. The residents turned on him and he wants revenge.

the wike page for the Willmott browns is very informative too. Josh isnt mentioned, but his surname is Hemming.
sophie and luke are Josh's half siblings - Josh;s mum is Wendy Hemming apparently and Sophie and Lukes mum was called Elizabeth.
Jay is also a Brown , although where he fits in im not sure. ( if at all)

Anyway, how do we think WB will play out his revenge on Kaff? Stalk her, spread rumours, try to kill her? If he has the cafe burnt then all ians businesses are gone.

Poor Kaff is always being chased by old white haired men carrying out their revenge. . I think WB will probably take over all the businesses. Everyone will be sad and poor but not taking benefits. Then Phil and Ian will reunite and fight back. I actually know a spoiler so I think that'll be involved in the fight back too.

Sad and poor, going to visit Cora and her food bank.
Cora will realise max is making them all unemployed and team up,with phil and ian as well! They will overcome.

Kathy clearly knew she had a storyline coming up. I don't believe she was in Spain at all.

No, she was bonking Buster behind Shirley's back. And there was the whole Gavin thing.

But why would he want the Vic long after Dirty Den has gone? Shouldn't he go after Sharon rather than the Carters who are relatively new to the Sauare? It doesn't make sense.

And why would he want to change the market/close it down to 'get back' at traders like Kush/Martin/Shrimpy who have no historical connection to the place.

The chairman wants the Carters out on the streets.
Where will they all live?
I agree that they might target Phil and Sharon as well as Kathy.

I was also transfixed for the same reason in an earlier scene (see my post a while back). Damn she looks good though (even though I deplore botox as a whole). Even if no actual emotions or expressions in her face , only KathyBeale's 'shoutywords' style of emoting!
