I think Pauline mostly hated Sonia because she gave baby Bex away, and when her adoptive parents died she wouldn't have her back. Cue Pauline whinging "but she's your daaaaaughtaaaa" in a really tedious, ongoing storyline.

Well thank god Sonia did take Bex back eventually. Or we'd never hear her brilliant original songs!

Pauline spent a lot of time insulting Sonia by calling her a "Jackson". Harry Hill did a great montage of it on TV Burp, imagining Jackson was a slang word for Lesbian, it was very funny "your nothing but a Jackson" "deep down your just a Jackson" unfortunately can't find it on YouTube.
