If EE is filmed 12 weeks or so ahead and SOC was sacked at the end of June, (with immediate effect), then we must be almost at episodes presided over by the new producer John Yorke. We're almost through it!

Why is it ridiculous he’s back? He was always an entrepreneur, obsessed with Kathy and maybe feels aggrieved for being run out of Walford. Seems pretty logical to me (for a soap).

I must admit I was a bit whoa!!!!! Willmott Brown!!!!!! Jaw dropped. I love it. I think it's a great twist. Didn't see it coming at all but makes perfect sense. I like the idea of two twisted people who both hate Walford, feeling generally aggrieved, plotting revenge together. Good to have a genuine baddie for a change. Now we're talking.

Had enough to of storylines to do with rape etc. the Dean story hasnt really been resolved and is fairly recent, now dragging this up again. It is a bit much for a soap.thats on before 9 too.
Just my opinion, but there other things they can do instead of this.

They weren't subtle about bringing back the story if Wilmott. Suddenly L can't walk past dining table, then breaks down, tells Kaff who then opens up about her being raped.

Then BOOM Fi and Josh are siblings of Max's jail friend who happen to be the offspring of that same person.

What I can't work out is whether Josh actually die or doesn't like Max and if he really likes Lauren?

Who is Wilmott Brown? Or James? Very confused!

Short and sweet - wilmott brown is the man who raped Kathy (the one she was telling Linda about in the cafe)

Anyway, I found the whole thing underwhelming. Though I think "Fi" or "Sophie" is quite a good actress. Is she getting all attached to the pub though? She looked a bit reluctant to get shot of it. Maybe her and Mick will be the new landlord and landlady one day . At least we won't have to look at Linda's pink outfits, permanent grim expression and frowny forehead day-in, day-out.

She said that her mum killed herself. So of course they'll somehow all blame Kathy for that, as he 'had him sent to jail and that's what finished her off', or some such.

So the Weyland Chairman with the Thunderbirds specs is the father of Fi and Josh and Max's prison mate? And then Wilmott Brown is the father of the Chairman/grandfather to Fi and Josh and prison dude?

Glad Kathy will be getting a storyline, hope they don't make a hash of it, as they often do with figures from the past - such as the Sharons real dad storyline and the weird Hubbard/Mitchell storyline which really suspended disbelief.

The pre-funeral scenes in the pub were truly odd. What was that police liaison officer all about?!

Something about the way Kaff was talking in the caf made me wonder if Willmot-Brown left the flowers.

It's all getting very weird. Josh seems to genuinely like Lsuren and Phi has warmed to Mock. The scene in the pub was crap.

I think it was a bit off of them to abandon the funeral completely, especially as Cathy has pretend to be dead before and Ian has pretended his daughter had cancer. Also is no one suspicious of Max a bit?

As for Wilmer Brown, I don't know. I was wondering if maybe Fi was punk Marys baby daughter grown up, but she's probably too old. It's a just a little bit of history retconned.
