I was more shocked by Abi's horrific pink denim jacket than the gas explosion. Phil landed on a bin bag so he's fine. It was a very odd episode, Jane was all over the place!

They certainly haven't gone for the slow build up of Fi's story have they? We've had months of her being super slick business woman with a touch of evil sneakiness with Max and then bam an anniversary of her mums death and she's turned into a gibbering drunk clingy mess in the space of two episodes

It's true that Lacey Turner is one of the few who can actually act, but for me that makes it more likely she'll get killed off, she shows up every single person she acts opposite, it's embarrassing for all involved. Get rid if Stace and they can all be crap together.

I really wish Linda would fuck off, somewhere, anywhere, and just stay there! I'm sick of seeing her frowning, sour face. I used to like her before she went away, but on her fleeting visit I couldn't stand her, and since she's returned, I've just wanted to push her off the Vic's roof.

Linda was meant to be going to Jack's to pick up Ollie, and I think the 'explosion' happened near there so maybe that's the end of her - I can't imagine it though.

I'm also hoping that it's 'the end' of Steven and Abi - I detest both of them, they're so pathetic and unrealistic.

I did think Johnny will be the one to die (a secondary, boring character, played by a terrible actor, and him dying can bring Linda and Mick back together) but there's some gossip online that Max is out this week, possibly in a secondary explosion or murder. Is there any way back for him after everyone knows what his revenge plan is? I don't think so. Plus it would mean Jake Wood would have done a year's contract (most soap contracts are for six or twelve months).
