Yellow Lipstick . No Susan.

seasidesally · 15/08/2017 20:51

thought that was diane abbot then, fabio's mum

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/08/2017 20:52

I feel really sorry for Fabio. Nagged by mother and sister .

quencher · 15/08/2017 20:54

The Dd needs to have strong. If the brother doesn't win I can see him seeing him self as failure, his mum routing for him might even make it worse. He might see him self as not good enough while the sister will strive for more for attention or the other way and give up.

For competitive people, being second is not great. You are basically first in along line of losers. I don't think they work that hard to be second.

SexandDrugsandaNiceCuppa · 15/08/2017 20:55

Urgh, Fabio's Mum needs to get a job or a hobby or just something to get her off her kid's backs, poor buggers

MelvinThePenguin · 15/08/2017 20:55

I'm watching with my 3 month old. She can barely even hold a jigsaw piece. Clearly no genius here! Confused

DeleteOrDecay · 15/08/2017 20:56

Olivia and Fabio's mum is horrific. Those poor kids.

quencher · 15/08/2017 20:57

 try harder @MelvinThePenguin. 😂

Probably the dad did all of it while the child listens and has got selective memory of what the child could do at that stage.

user8526831517 · 15/08/2017 20:59

@Melvinthepenguin at 3 months old she should be eating the jigsaw not putting it together Grin

SexandDrugsandaNiceCuppa · 15/08/2017 20:59

I hope Rahul wins, he's fabulous. He reminds me of Manny from Modern Family - it's the old head on young shoulders thing.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/08/2017 20:59

Oooh will have to see cheatgate tomorrow

2rebecca · 15/08/2017 21:01

I just don't get these competitive professional home tutoring parents. If they're so clever why don't they do something that benefits society rather than hot housing a child so they can do what? Have kids then follow their parents example and stay at home hot housing their kids and the cycle continues. It's mad

JoWithABow · 15/08/2017 21:01

Agh, I wasn't concentrating at the very end - what was that preview of next week?! It looked controversial- missed what they were saying, something about mouthing the answers?? Can anyone enlighten me?

MelvinThePenguin · 15/08/2017 21:01

I know, I am such a terrible mother quencher Grin

She did start rolling over at 9 weeks. My response was 'oh shit, she's mobile already' (second child).

The only parent I had any respect for was Oscar's dad.

seasidesally · 15/08/2017 21:02

its all on nightly this week

JoWithABow · 15/08/2017 21:02

I see what you mean 2rebecca. Does seem a bit bonkers

quencher · 15/08/2017 21:03

The dad is making claims about being born a genius (credit his DNA/ biology) and the mum about nature plus nature (her hard work and effort she has put into the child).

MelvinThePenguin · 15/08/2017 21:03

She can eat it user, I feel better now, thanks! Grin

user8526831517 · 15/08/2017 21:04

Same here Melvin, Oscar and his Dad had my respect from the beginning. I was a bit Shock about him still going on the programme when his mum was taken into hospital but I get that it was what he wanted. I would say a bit of normality helps perhaps but the programme is not normality!

Fekko · 15/08/2017 21:05

Sorry but Fabios parents... 'Kensal...?'
Dad 'rises' banner
Mum 'ruses' hand

Eh, eh?

user8526831517 · 15/08/2017 21:06

@Melvin she she's clearly a genius, she has got great spatial awareness as she can accurately judge size compared to her mouth and has great fine motor skills as she can get it in her mouth. Job's a good 'un.

CremeFresh · 15/08/2017 21:06

I'm watching but find it makes me sad for some of the kids and cross with some of the parents.

I don't want Rahul to win .

CremeFresh · 15/08/2017 21:08

I like Richard Osman though Smile

user8526831517 · 15/08/2017 21:14

Unbelievable! I failed maths GCSE but I just answered a maths question correctly without a pen/paper or calculator before one of the children did. Miracles do happen Grin

quencher · 15/08/2017 21:19

It's amazing how Theo's mum does not want to test his ability with school exams but she is ok for him to be tested on this show to see how clever he is.
