Anyone else watching this catch-up on a Castaway/10,000 years BC/The Island type show set in remote Scotland.

Partially broadcast a year or two ago, C4 stopped showing it before the group of 23 started to fall apart.

Shocking stuff, with overt sexism, bullying, aggression and violence.

Enlightening just how quickly how the 'emotionally intelligent' generation disintegrates and revert to basic role models.

Most of the women have walked out already due to bullying and sexism by various, Tobys, Ollys, Robs and Sams led by a bitter plumber.

Stark reminder how far humans haven't travelled and how quickly we can go back.

On again tonight.

Of course they should have had a vote. They are/were members of the group. At the very least, Antony should have had a vote about Raph and Raph should have been able to vote on whether Anton should stay.

The whole voting people out of a community is a bit weird as a concept. We don't do that in society. By putting the idea into people's heads that leaving was the way to solve problems a lot of people left rather than stick it out and work together. Again, if everyone recognised that a primary goal was for everyone to make it then maybe this wouldn't have happened.

Agree with PP that a more interesting program would be some sort of isolation, but with resources.

I've got Ep.3 recording, but not sure how much more there is to see.

Anton seemed like an annoying wildcard but he was treated awfully by the rest of them bar Ralf. Ollie and Rob were sneaky and manipulative.

I hope it was edited fairly though. These types of shows arent always.

Was Oli part of the production team, or part of the community? He was awful- a real stirrer. I hope jack is a former army officer- last nights episode did not say much for his problem solving by skills in a high stress situation.
Overall I am v disappointed with the women- maybe it shows the bullying mentality- if the men are picking in anton then they are. It sexually harassing the women- v unpleasant to see how the women went along with this witch hunt, even (hopefully) knowing that the herd men were pretty unpleasant and certainly losing their moral compass/ society norms as they went through time at Eden.

Anton was annoying in a obstructive passive aggressive way. Which winds people up but when you try to explain what Anton has done you come across as being petty. IMO. The t shirt thing for example with the stupid dance laced with a hint of confrontation is a prime example. It should of been funny and lighthearted but it wasn't.

What horrible manipulative bullies - Oli and Rob being the worst. Anton and Raph didn't deserve that. The gloating smugness of them all acting all Billy Big Bollocks and pretending it was for the Group good pissed me right off.

Apparently Oli is 'embedded crew' - a cameraman - so he could be 'paid' to stir it up or he could just naturally be an entitled fuckwitted twat.

Titch, boggle-eyed Rob, chef Steve, Glenn are just twats too.

So, what do we think will happen tonight? The trailer suggests lots of dead livestock and spoiling carcasses...

I wonder if the plumber got his way with moving the lavvy closer to the camp? Also, perhaps with fewer people left, there is less expertise so perhaps no one knows the proper way to dispose of carcasses etc.

They also have fewer people to do all the jobs like chopping wood, fishing, gardening ( if the garden is even usable any more), washing up () - so there may be more arguments about sharing out chores.

I hope someone turns on, calls out, or confronts Oli or Rob.

I fear all the people with any character have left and so it's just going to unravel and fizzle out now.

Do you think they'll have a reunion show with a live audience and a couple of psychologist types giving their insights? Maybe a viewer vote for Miss Congeniality?!

I was trying to imagine a reunion show actually last night and the thought made me cringe! All the awful ones being all nicey nicey for the audience.

I've just watched Tuesday's episode. I actually felt concerned for the safety of the women. As Eden was supposed to be shown every 3 months weren't the production company monitoring any of the footage? I'm actually appalled by the whole thing. I hope the males involved are feeling the effects of their behaviour now it's being shown.

I only caught last night and tonight's. This is fucking frustrating and depressing. Are there really more shit people than decent people or is it just more assholes apply for shows like this?
I know it's probably edited for effect, but it still does not make for comfortable viewing.

fourquenelles I was expecting this to result in some very horrible constipation scenes too. Kind of disappointed that so far it hasn't.
