Why would Lauren react like that - Carmel is okay, she is single , hasnt much baggage, is working and still in good shape. Compared to a lot of Max;s other women in the past, she is one of the better ones. Just a shame she is being played for a fool in order to find out information though! Even the word 'camping' is enough for me to become a nervous wreck. I can sympathise with Jack there.

I also loved Lauren's line! Put next to Cora's look she gave them it made me wish she'd come back full time - they'd be a great double act.

Fi is obviously just using max weakness (woman and sex!) to get what she needs.

Loved Shirley having some lines tonight - I think she's such a powerful actress.

The80s - I'm hoping that Cora will be able to expose Max and Steven. When the truth comes out, Lauren's going to be devastated, isn't she? Her boyfriend and dad both being high-grade manipulators, her best friend mightily distracted by her new wardrobe and messy emotional life, her sister being complicit in Steven's lies, little contact with her mother .... hope it doesn't drive her to drink.

It is horrible the way he is using Carmel for information and then going into the toilets with Fiona! She looks a bit classier than that, but obviously not.

I am a bit naive about council matters, but surely ( in the real world) Big and his corporation would just butter up the councillors to get things pushed through..He wouldnt have an ex con low life like Max trying to do this?
