Watching Radiohead brings back memories. Went through a phase of listening to them morning noon and night c. 20 years ago. They're brilliant but quite dark.

I'm pretty sure Liam Fray's been on a 2/3 day bender. I love the Courteeners but his voice is really struggling today.

Jo Whiley is terrible. Love Mark Radcliffe and Lauren Laverne. Glad we haven't had to put up with the very annoying Edith Bowman this year.

Oh I love Jo Whiley! I didn't see her with the Killers today but I seem to remember them being really rude to her at the peak of their fame so maybe she was getting her own back

I don't like Jo Whiley either. I can't tell if she can only come out with inane crap because she's starstruck, or because she believes she's one of the rock stars and not an interviewer at all.

Just switched on to The Killers. Loved their first album by everything since is a bit pants. Need to spend the next week trawling through the acts on iPlayer, now this is one reason why I love the BBC.

Loved the Pretenders yesterday - Chrissie Hynde has still got a great voice, and caught Chic on the radio this afternoon when we were taking my mum home. Both great.

Highlight of the weekend has to be the Foo Fighters last night. I knew a bit of their stuff, and obviously remember Dave Grohl when he was drummer with Nirvana but my God, they were absolutely fantastic, my new favourite band. Dave Grohl is a God, talk about getting better with age . Fantastic set, great lighting and really engaging with the crowd, it was just wonderful. Told DH we must try and get to see them live. Even my 80 year old mum stayed up for them and said they were great!

Only catching glimpses of Chic whilst bathing the kids but they sound awesome. Won't be watching Ed Sheeran though, I don't get him at all.

Same here Vinorosso74 their fair album was brilliant and then it went all formulated stadium rock. Surprised to see them playing John Peel stage - one of the backing singers sounds flat or is it just someone near the mic?!

They're about a million times better live, so you won't regret it if you manage to go. They've just released a new album and US tour so hopefully (please God!) they'll tour in the UK again as well.
