Glastonbury - Anyone watching?

Loved Elbow earlier on.

Watching Radiohead brings back memories. Went through a phase of listening to them morning noon and night c. 20 years ago. They're brilliant but quite dark.

I remember being on the Kanye West thread here a few years ago when we ripped the piss out of him.

What does everyone think so far?

Literally crying with joy watching Niles Rogers and Chic. STUNNING!!SmileSmileSmile

228agreenend · 25/06/2017 21:01

Never heard of Chic before, but recognised a lot of their music. Really enjoyed them.

StorminaBcup · 25/06/2017 21:01

racmactac I know a few people who have taken kids with them (and babies). There's a family friendly zone with baby changing stations and quiet camping. They've all said it's set up really well and they've had a great time even if they've missed the headliners.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 25/06/2017 21:06

I'm planning on taking my kids in a couple of years hopefully. They're 4 and 7 and I just wouldn't feel confident with them just now.

InigoTaran · 25/06/2017 21:16

Also, if you missed Josh Barry, check him out he was fantastic, the new Terence Trent D'Erby!

I thought Emily Sande was a vintage dance act from 1986 Blush

NormaSmuff · 25/06/2017 21:21

Catching up on rag and bone man, fantastic

ophiotaurus · 25/06/2017 21:23

Looking forward to Ed Sheeran.

PantPlot · 25/06/2017 21:23

Now Emily Sande is Dull As.

Sorry.

TizzyDongue · 25/06/2017 21:25

Did I miss Rag and Bone Man? Was on bbc4, just turned to bbc2

228agreenend · 25/06/2017 21:30

I'm really enjoying Emelie Sande. Did you know her actual name is Adele?

I shall look up Josh Berry. Wildwood l Kin were another BBC introducing act. I saw them earlier this year. They were superb.

FavouriteWasteofSlime · 25/06/2017 21:33

Bored of Emeli Sande, she's not interacting with the crowd at all.

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 25/06/2017 21:40

This year's line up is making me proud to be of a certain age Smile

EachandEveryone · 25/06/2017 21:48

That handstand woman was just like a friend of mine always needing to be on the stsge

ophiotaurus · 25/06/2017 21:49

They're saying it's the last Glastonbury for two years and may be in a different location. Is it always in a different location? Sorry if this is a stupid question!

Cassimin · 25/06/2017 21:53

Fallow year next year. Gives the land chance to recover.

TizzyDongue · 25/06/2017 21:54

Usually Worthy Farm.

ophiotaurus · 25/06/2017 21:55

Ah ok thanks!

JustDanceAddict · 25/06/2017 21:59

Jellykat · 25/06/2017 22:38

Missed Chic, will watch on Catch up..

Not particularly enjoying Ed im afraid.

AppleYumYum · 25/06/2017 22:42

Anyone see this guy Anderson .Paak on Friday night, never heard of him before but he and his band were amazing! His dancing was so cool, and loved his outfit, I've never seen someone look so sexy in a boiler suit! Watch about 36 mins or so in on iPlayer, Lite Weight.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 25/06/2017 22:42

Hate to say it but I'm a bit bored by Ed. He's very talented and I'm sure it'd be a great show if I knew all his songs.

EachandEveryone · 25/06/2017 22:45

Or if you were 21 I'm sure. I'm bored of him. I can't be bothered to see who's on the other stages.

NormaSmuff · 25/06/2017 22:46

I turned Ed Sheeran off

fussychica · 25/06/2017 22:50

Watching Ed but a bit confused by the backing track being used and him not singing in places while you can still hear his voiceConfused. There's obviously a band, would be better if we could see them.
