Loved Elbow earlier on.

Watching Radiohead brings back memories. Went through a phase of listening to them morning noon and night c. 20 years ago. They're brilliant but quite dark.

I remember being on the Kanye West thread here a few years ago when we ripped the piss out of him.

What does everyone think so far?

LOVE Dave! He's really making up for 2015

GavelRavel · 24/06/2017 22:10

Well Radiohead were incredible last night and today I've been massively impressed by my 12y old's favourite Stormzy, despite the language! And now Foo Fighters are playing my favourite song, emotional!

skyzumarubble · 24/06/2017 22:11

British sea power were on earlier with a rather odd dirty polar bear...

polkadotdelight · 24/06/2017 22:12

I keep thinking I'll run upstairs when the next one starts but damn they are too good. I'm sure he would find it funny!!

EnglishGirlApproximately · 24/06/2017 22:16

time I loved FJM! Only discovered him recently and loved his set tonight

StorminaBcup · 24/06/2017 22:16

Dave Group Grin

These are ace! I've been racking my brains to work out who the other guitarist is for half of it though! (He's the session guitarist from nirvana - recognised him from nirvana unplugged)!

Could you a field trip Hulababy Wink

theluckiest · 24/06/2017 22:21

Good god, the Foos are bloody mesmerising.

DS1 (10) has snook downstairs to watch as he's a big fan. Haven't the heart to send him to bed now. This is an education (& he def knows the word fuck now anyway Grin)

They really are pulling out all the stops aren't they?

Jellykat · 24/06/2017 22:22

Am impressed with your memory Storm!
(Still possess that unplugged on tape, 'tis special for sure)

skyzumarubble · 24/06/2017 22:23

I'm loving this. On my own tonight no one to share with!

UnGoogleable · 24/06/2017 22:25

They're amazing - total Pros

And the drummer is sexy.

hazeyjane · 24/06/2017 22:29

Yes theluckiest, my foo fans are 10 and 11- dd1 must said, 'he says fluff a lot doesn't he mum?' (Fluff is my go to fuck replacement)

hazeyjane · 24/06/2017 22:31

I think Taylor Hawkins has taken some sort of Viking immortality elixir.

megletthesecond · 24/06/2017 22:33

bad was it Charli XCX? Halsey and Lorde were also on yesterday but I don't think it sounds like them.

shortsaint · 24/06/2017 22:40

British Sea Power (another of my favourites) were on red button. They keep changing it but sure they'll be on iPlayer later. They had the polar bear and the black bear. As per.

PickAChew · 24/06/2017 22:40

I might catch Foo fighters, later. We're enjoying the Flaming Lips in all their theatricality, for now and will probably catch Alt-J once DS1's gone to bed, if I have time.

BadToTheBone · 24/06/2017 23:03

Meg not, none of them. She was on bbc1 just after Lorde though. I'll have to watch all the highlights again, lol

Keppoch · 24/06/2017 23:09

The Foo Fighters are bloody awesome!

PantPlot · 24/06/2017 23:16

Can you imagine what physical shape you have to be in, to do a live set as long as this, as awesome as this??

Taylor Hawkins, singing lead vocals, whilst drumming Shock

TheWitchAndTrevor · 24/06/2017 23:22

I was watching the cosmics earlier on red button, and was transfixed at how young the guitar playing lad was, they all looked about 15!

EachandEveryone · 24/06/2017 23:25

Omg I've just been to see Flaming Lips. Amazing. I know nothing about them but what a performer!

Jellykat · 24/06/2017 23:25

Very rare i can see a 1 hour 40 minute set and know every song, prob Bowie is the only other artist could think of..

Wow the lights look awesome!

Jellykat · 24/06/2017 23:30

10 more songs Grin

PickAChew · 24/06/2017 23:42

So much for Alt-J. might have to wait until they're finished. I got some soggy band I didn't recognise from this afternoon

Vinorosso74 · 24/06/2017 23:42

Am loving the Foos tonight! Each The Flaming Lips are one of my favourite live bands ever! Last time I saw them I was pregnant with DD and so uncomfortable but they are just amazing.
I don't think I'll be up late watching Ed Sheeran tomorrow.

Jellykat · 24/06/2017 23:43
