Ugh, the new family are so badly written in a horribly classist way. I can imagine the middle-class writers sitting down and discussing what names to give the kids and being really mocking and nasty about it. It really left a bad taste actually.

I watched it! The Taylor kid's names I remember are Keegan, Chantelle and ....... Bernadette? The mother Karen reminded me of the female actress of the main duo in Gimme Gimme Gimme (if anyone can remember that)? It was all so hammed up. Do they think the viewers are really stupid with the very obvious slow motion type stopping and staring whilst giving each other knowing looks so we the stupid viewers might just realise certain obvious things.

Bronson was the Taylor's dog rather than a child. I foresee a romantic entanglement with Lady Di resulting in puppies. He will shirk his responsibilities as a father, she will get a council house.

soup, so funny about the dogs getting involved in a 'single parent dog' scandal - just as long as Lady di and the puppies also manage to buy a new flatscreen tv, thats important. Maybe Linda will return with those huge knitting needles and knit them some hats and lady di will be done for shop lifting pedigree chum out of the mini mart.
Keegan is scary though, i can imagine him being headhunted by Mr Big and Max for their latest gangster activities.
I believe it was Kathy Burke in Gimme Gimme Gimme, that was an amusing show ( must try to watch again on u tube)

Much as I dislike Steven, I did feel a bit sorry for him overhearing Ian talking about him not being his real father. He's going to be turning into Max Mk2 with all these resentments brewing, isn't he?

Perhaps Karen will mention at some point she's got a twin sister who runs a pub?

I must admit to actually having an OOOOOOH! At Keegan being her son - which is the first time in a long time EE has made me feel anything other than bored, presumably things won't go well between her and Denise, although it seemed like she wasn't averse to slapping him around herself last night 😢

I'm quite glad they've given Keegan a regular spot, his character is good, a good young actor playing him.

Just caught up and I think it was implied in Louise's clinic visit that she was raped (she was super drunk and wouldn't have been able to consent!) which could lead to her reporting Keegan, then it all coming out that he was lying

I was just hoping that the nurse doing Louise's tests would tell her she was still a virgin. If she did pursue an accusation of rape would Madison and Whatserface act as witnesses for Keegan's version of events or would they see the error of their ways, apologise profusely and become BFFs with Louise and Bex?

Would a clinic really be able to tell if a girl was a virgin? I thought it was very hard to tell and they'd just do swabs for tests? If somebody was into specific sports, the hymen could break prior to sexual intercourse too.

The new family are the new Slaters I suppose but hammed up a thousand times more.

Kathy Burke - that is who I was thinking of. Her voice and Karen Taylor's voice and accents were similar weren't they?

Louise was feisty and is now such a naive meek girl. It is too extreme a change. Bex's constant shrugging and pained expressions irritate me. Sonia must be due to return soon surely? I am constantly rewinding Max's lines to try to figure out wtf he is saying. I need subtitles when he comes on. Another new character coming too for Jack's nanny. Honey's role is getting quite funny, yet not a parody. I like her a lot.

We never got to see who moved into Jack's flats?

No clinic nurse wouldn't know if she was a virgin tampns, sport, bikes can all break hymen . There is something i thought i would never say onthread
