Maybe Michelle & Denise should set up a Free School? I think you can make up all rules/do what you like at Free Schools. No checks and reference=tick for Michelle. Teaching for all levels, qualification gcse English literature =tick Denise.

As a PP mentioned above, they've really been labouring the point about Denise being skint! We had the fridge-gazing, purse-inspecting, chips-on-the-floor yearning to drive the point home, didn't we? (Her enhanced education didn't help her deduce that £5 could buy a whole loaf of bread, a block of cheddar and some fresh tomatoes to make sandwiches over several days instead of Minute Mart prepackaged ones.)

Where is Patrick? Where is his house keeping money? Surely You ask your sister for bag of grocerys she certain could afford it. They must know she not been signing on since she left her job. They all being spectacular stupid

Another poverty story !! I don't believe that she was so hungry she was going to pick up those chips . And with £8 why the hell would you go and buy crappy sandwiches? Why not buy cheap bread and some other value stuff? And sign on ffs or stop being so arrogant and do a cleaning job.

There was a fleeting comment about Sharon and Phil 'building a house in Italy' tonight. BUT did anyone else spot the trail for Redwall: the Kat and Alfie story starting on 18th May? Did someone on here say the reviews for it were terrible? Maybe that's been the plan of the new producer/writer all along - make normal EE so awful that the Kat and Alfie spin off will look quite good?

Don't know why Jack is giving so much sympathy, if he Was a woman with 2 school aged kids and a toddler he be expected get on with t by now. He's not even been at work has he so keeping house running should be basic. But he's bloke so we expecting to think

Surely Kush would notice and offer to make dinner? You wouldn't let someone you loved go hungry whether you lived together or not. Then there's Kim and Vincent. They seem to have plenty of money. I'm sure she'd be sending an online shop over as soon as she noticed. It know people can be good at hiding things but everyone seems to know everything else there is to know so why not this. And yes, what about Patrick?! Either he's going hungry too or he's just buying he own food and putting labels on it like a student house share. Daft storyline.

But why would she ask for a loan or tell someone? Because that's what Normal people would do and the fucking ee producer is eager to have a storyline about every mundane "community" orientated topic. EE used to be about "faaaaamily"...now it's the "commmuuuuuniitty" which is a big yawn fest.

I see a lottery win or inheritance story coming up for Denise. They're never poor for long.

This really would me up. If you were really starving, you'd surely spend your last few quid on a giant bag of value pasta/rice etc and not a ready made sandwich!

I hadn't watched it for ages, but had it on last night - the drinking story was horrible - maybe the drink was spiked otherwise the effects were OTT. Those girls are hideous.
And what happened to Denise's baby?
