Aaargh, the Denise storyline is infuriating!
I don't know what's more annoying - her being too proud/stubborn to a) tell her boyfriend/family she's skint or b) said boyfriend/family being too dim to consider that she might be skint, having quit her job. Do they think she's sitting on a massive pile of savings or something? Angry

Glad Charlie is back, but it makes me cast my mind back to his frankly ridiculous departure storyline...which involved the oft repeated ruse of kidnapping/affair with sister/running over railway bridges like a loon Hmm

Speaking of bad parenting/absent parents, where is Louise's actual mum these days? Would Louise be allowed to be released back to Sharon's "care" from social services? And where is Phil?

Why are we not seeing the Vic kitchen refurb, will it be magically 4 times the size it previously was when finally revealed?!

Noones got annoyed with Jack dragging chicken pox child around the square! Surely he have sense to get Dot sit at home with two while he does school run? Or pay Whitney or Honey to do it. (Honey has to go there anyway!) Whitney can't be up doing pub stuff that's essential in the 20min it would take to do school run before 9am.

Denise woulnt be able to claim
Job seekers because she got sacked from her job, which if it was the first time when she got torn by newspaper reporter could be an "accident". But they offered take her back if she went on customer course or something and she told them to stick it which would have been seen as unreasonable request therefore made herself unemployed. Think it's 3-6months in that case.

I'm sticking with my story that she will go on the game! though she dosnt really have any friends does she, Jane similar age yet talks to lots of people yet can't think of a friend apart from sister and Carmel.

Or maybe sexy tutor will find her in
Bins and say how wonderful she is and dole her out? Or she bound to miss the exam due to no alarm as electric cut off, or bus fare or something then she have to leave square and start new life somewhere else!

Can't believe bully story line is still going, makes me feel well old. So trying get boys she likes in frame. Becks was trying again and ditched again. Can't cope with this over the summer holidays all day every day.

Yes to kitchen extension it should be huge that side of the pub anyway. What was woody asking Ian about? Just how get locals back in?

I think Patrick will shortly return from Trinidad having dug up information from his old mates about who Denise's parents really are. They'll turn out to have been super rich but died having never had another child & left everything to their long-lost daughter. Unfortunately, "everything" will take into account the massive debts that they ran up & will leave Denise with about £100. She'll be happy with this & the knowledge of who her parents really were. Kim will initially be shirty about Denise's rich parents but will find it hilarious when she finds out how much Denise inherited.

I don't get why Sharon, Nuchelle & Damien needed to go out at all. When I was a teen & had a sleepover we just messed around in my room. There was never any expectation that we'd have the house to ourselves!

Of course it would be Saint Sonia's daughter they'd rush to in a medical emergency! I don't understand why he hung around & watched her get ill & then rather than take her outside for some air he left her there to go get Bex. Surely he should've taken Louise with him if he had to leave & was concerned for her safety!

What is going on with Nuchelle's hair? Ever since she donned the hi-vis it's looked like they're combing it over her forehead, as if she's forgotten how to use a hairdryer or can't afford a bit of mousse. Surely Sharon has a drawer full of unused hair products from all her hairstyles over the years that Nuchelle could use?!

When I watch the Denise storyline, I rewrite it in my head:

Kush: Fancy the Vic tonight?
Denise: I can't. I'm skint ever since I lost my job. Barely got enough cash to get the shopping in.
Kush: Oh God, I didn't think! How about I treat you to a takeaway and we do a shop, get you in the basics?
Denise: Oh, I couldn't...
Kush: Don't be ridiculous, you're my girlfrien and I want to look after you. You'd do the same for me.
Denise: True. Well, that would really help til I get back on my feet.

STORYLINE OVER.

Sonetimes Kim is speaking rather than Kush, but you get my drift.

You can do a degree without A levels and no "access course", I did. 4 I levels (no maths) and I did a law degree with the OU.

The prog is all a bit silly at the moment, I also wish D would just say she's broke. Why didn't she take the cleaning job?

Denise needs the magical MN chicken that makes dozens of meals and feeds the 5,000. I suppose this is another social issues storyline from EE and we'll see her visiting a food bank soon enough.

I don't watch much these days - is she looking for a job? Or in true EE style is she only able to work within the confines of Albert Square. Heaven forbid any of the residents jump on the tube and go to the West End or a few mins on the bus to Stratford's huge shopping centre to look for a job!
