Agree with PPs:
Maneet is double agenting for AC-12, passing over false info to WanderingHandsHilton, so as to prove him corrupt.
Her look of deep reluctance was just convincing acting to fool him that she'd complied with his orders.
Maneet and Noble Ted are both too shrewd, and have too much integrity, not to have justifiable reasoning behind what (for now) seem dubious actions.
Though I'm still undecided as to whether wily Ted's apparent sexism is purposely done to rile and push Roz's buttons (don't remember him demonstrating such overt attitudes previously?), or whether it's just a less desirable, ingrained habit of an older, more traditional SIO. Proving he's as flawed as any of us.
(Excepting Adrian Dunbar himself, who's perfect in every way).

Ted does, after all, also refer to male juniors as "son", "young fella" etc., arguably as patronising.
Likewise, yes, he may have originally joined The Masons for networking and being regarded as one of the gang; it was (believed to be) fairly common in his era of policing, but perhaps he maintains only the most peripheral involvement? Handy for keeping his ear to the ground and confirming hunches.
Isn't it famed for only seriously committed members being privy to inner sanctum stuff? Doubt very much Ted would invest time and inclination/ risk compromising his principles.
Do admit I'm very biased, though, and hate the thought of him and/ or Maneet being uncovered as less than honourable!
Please, Jed Mercurio, let them end the series heroically...
Sidenotes:
- Really laughed at Ted's expressions of groaning despair during JamieNotJames's faffing around in first interview.
- Am certain Roz's injured arm was clocked by them there. Will be investigated further/ used against her next ep.
