I've not minded nardole in the Christmas specials. I just thought he didn't bring much to Saturdays episode. Maybe in the future he'll get some good stories he can get his teeth into

New rumours today that David Bradley will appear as the 1st doctor with PC for his last episode. It may also be to do with savin galifrey in the 50th anniversary episode that showed PCs eyes sayin this happened early in his regeneration. Thought David Bradley we brilliant in adventures of space and time. Could be interesting

Yes I agree Anthony Head would be a good choice but I haven't seen his name in the running. Ooh Sacha Dwanan would be easy on the eye good! Just so hoping it's not Kris Marshall, he is extremely annoying and has one of those sloppy mouths that spits when he talks

i'd also make an exception to the not-a-woman rule for Tamsin Greig, she'd be amazing and about the only woman I could imagine in the role.

Yes Merlin was fantastic in that ghost thing. It was rather weird seeing him as someone hot though, as I was so used to the actor being a skinny geek. Perhaps Humans and Dr aren't filmed at the same time? He managed to be in the Fall and Humans.

Tamsin Greig was bloody wonderful in the ntlive 12th night. I would heartily approve of her.
