I only watched a few 1st/2nd series, mucha s I love PC I was annoyed with the Clara show and some of the writing.

After the Wimbledon final!

Although, I'd far rather just find out when he regenerates. The whole announcement show thing ruined Peter Capaldi's chances of making an decent impact. He had only one direction to go from being put up on a pedestal and worshipped as the next Doctor.

I will not be able to stop myself from watching on Sunday and I definitely can't keep from hearing about it til Christmas but it would have been better kept a secret til airing.

They did all this hype with Bill.

I hate tennis, I don't want to have to watch it just so I find out who the new Dr is . I dont even know what time the tennis is likely to finish other than too late for my liking and if its Andy Murry I'm going to be furious

That's why he's out of Wimbledon, the match was fixed so he has got time to prepare for the announcement that he is the new Dr.....

Id quite like to see Andy Murray as the new doctor. Especially if he plays it as his usual dry humoured self.

Rumours are its kris marshall. I thought he was ok in death in paradise but dont want him as the Doctor.

I loved Kris Marshall in My Family. He was hilarious and I think he would be a good option. I still want Tom Hollander but DH wants Patrick Stewart.

I liked PC overall I'll miss him but after the stories and the Clara obsession let him down

I love Capaldi and will be sad to see him go. I was in hospital in August last year when they were filming at the school a friend of mine works at. I begged him to ask PC to give me a sweary bollocking, Tucker-style, about getting better down the 'phone, but my friend was too shy to ask! I blamed him for my continued stay in hospital,

I'll be watching it but mostly because I know I won't be able to avoid the spoiler until Christmas. I'd love for it to be Damien Molony, he was fab in Being Human. At least this time there hasn't been a solid list of candidates like when PC was revealed, so it will be a surprise tomorrow

If It's Tom Hollander then I'll be watching Dr Who for the first time in decades.

I'd be happy with either of those two.

I am do annoyed I keep writing posts and they dissappear. I was just thinking about Matt Bayton. My wish list is Damien Moloney, David Harewood, Olivia coleman, Jodie Whitaker, Paapa Essiedu & Tom Hollander.

I loved Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. He's been my favourite Doctor since Mr Eccleston. I'm gutted he is leaving.

Another one for Tom Hollander to replace him or for Tom Rosenthal to wield the screwdriver. Tom2 seems top be saying no on twitter though.

I'm not at all keen on Kris Marshall as a replacement.

I'm not quite ready for a female Doctor. No particular reason. I'm just not.

What do I know though? I'm still a dribbling mess after seeing the Master...

I'm just re-watching the very first episode with Christopher Eccleston. Fabulous episode. Fabulous Doctor. I'd forgotten how good he was.

I've loved Tom Hollander since he was in Bedrooms and Hallways so would be happy with that.
I wouldn't mind an opposite sex Doctor, either don't get the hate for a female Doctor and Olivia Coleman would be perfect, but I don't think that's going to happen
