It's on next Monday and Tuesday.

Can anyone remember when the last one was on as it seems like years? They are all teenagers now. Shock

Yeah, who was the child of the opera singing Mum?

That was Matthew, the shy child turned "party animal".

friendlyflicka · 08/04/2017 22:45

I wish we had seen more of his Mum! Thanks, I thought it might be

llhj · 09/04/2017 10:34

Yes I wanted to see more. Just tiny glimpses of handsome William and his lovely mum as well as charismatic Parys and his amazing mum. Perhaps the teens dictated what they were prepared to do but it does feel like odd editing without explanations?

It's never been particularly unusual for some kids to get more airtime than others. I'm pretty certain it's because those with more interesting or dramatic stories get prioritised over those who are just living their lives, doing well at school etc.

It's disappointing though. Now the updates are so infrequent it's a shame so many got ignored.

It's such a missed opportunity.

I hope they start a new one in 2020 and actually do it every year.

Does anyone know if previous episodes are available? I would love to watch them all again

MackerelOfFact · 09/04/2017 21:18

Loved this but I feel so old watching these young adults who I remember as babies!

I think Eve is amazing, she has always had an old head on her young shoulders, even before losing her mum. She just seems so wise and calm. I have a soft spot for Nathan and Het too, but they all seem like lovely kids.

I was also sad to see that Helena wasn't very involved this time. I too wonder about James from time to time, and am really sad to hear about Tyrese's mum. She was so desperate to ensure he didn't fall in with the wrong crowd, but now he's at a particularly vulnerable age and he's recently lost his mum I hope he has enough support around him so her fears don't come true.

I've caught with the second episode. It's fascinating to hear the comparisons between the teen's lives and their parents. Ie me and my kids.

Fabulous programme - only watched the 1st one - are the triplets and their parents on the 2nd one. I know the family (not in a close way) and 1 or 2 of the girls were on the first programme (just Alice I think) and the parents not at all. Before I knew them I saw them in the 1st programme when the children were under 5 (can't remember exact age) oh yes they were babies because I can remember triplet's mom picking them up by the back of their dungarees to stop them falling down steps. I thought she was fabulous - so calm and the dad. When the triplets were born they already had 3 kids, eldest 10, so they had 6 under 10. I asked how the first year had been and the dad said "Hell" and mom said laughing "it wasn't hell - it was busy.............!" Says it all really.

Anyway looking forward to the next programme I have taped but I can't remember all the children. My grand-daughter was born in April 2000 so it's particularly interesting to me.

Triplets were in the second programme , looking at social media.

friendlyflicka · 14/04/2017 22:08

The triplet's parents were very nice - I loved the teenage triplets. Oh God, I just loved them all...
