It's on next Monday and Tuesday.

Can anyone remember when the last one was on as it seems like years? They are all teenagers now. Shock

OP posts:

Bet the parents of the vomming girl were thrilled to see that! Eve's dad is great and she is so level headed.

AllllGooone · 03/04/2017 21:37

olivia
Ah maybe? Don't think he's on it any more Sad

228agreenend · 03/04/2017 21:38

Just caught up with this thread. My eldest dc is 17 so I watched this programme over the years with fascination.

jay55 · 03/04/2017 21:38

Can't believe they all were okay with being filmed in that state or that the parents were okay with the volume of alcohol supplied.

LIZS · 03/04/2017 21:39

How many teens are going to be blaming it all on their brains tomorrow?!

MrsDoylesTeabags · 03/04/2017 21:41

Well you could see that coming from miles away. I mean about the party.
Jamie's experience is really scary, I'm so glad he's managed to turn his life around

DontCallMeBaby · 03/04/2017 21:41

Would they be watching it though? Not cool, surely!

MrsDoylesTeabags · 03/04/2017 21:47

What an absolute shit Rhianna's dad is. Look at him all 'poor me' I'm yelling at the TV 'you did it to yourself!'

OliviaBonas · 03/04/2017 21:48

Rihanna has always been my favourite.

Stickerrocks · 03/04/2017 21:49

My DD is a year younger. I love spotting her traits in the others. They all just seem so sorted & comfortable with themselves, quirks & all.

DontCallMeBaby · 03/04/2017 21:49

She's changed the least so far. She was a cynical 12yo.

NewPuppyMum · 03/04/2017 21:51

.

NewPuppyMum · 03/04/2017 21:53

This has reminded me about Born to be Different too. I always think of Shelby when I recall the programme.

bookworm14 · 03/04/2017 21:54

Love Alex and Ivo. Don't think I could cope with that schedule though!

DontCallMeBaby · 03/04/2017 21:58

Alex and Ivo are in red and blue, not sure if they're still colour coding themselves despite their very different haircuts!

PickAChew · 03/04/2017 22:04

I shall have to catch up with this when my curmudgeonly teen has buggered off to bed. I saw the first series when I was pregnant with him (and he's only a quarter of a foot taller than me, so far - at 13 1/4!)

SoMuchToBits · 03/04/2017 22:14

Very interesting to see how much the children have changed in 4 years - which totally echoes how much my own (16 year old boy) has changed in that time.

It was lovely to see Matthew, whose mum was a childhood friend of mine.

For those who were wondering about his lovely gran, I'm sad to say she passed away a couple of years ago, and his granddad has also passed away since then too. Much missed by all their family, including Matthew and his older brother.

Beebeeeight · 03/04/2017 22:26

I found that depressing.

As babies they all had so much potential.

Now their lives seem so inevitable.

DontCallMeBaby · 03/04/2017 22:29

SoMuch thank you for the update, I feared that would be the case. But what lovely grandparents for the boys to have had in their lives.

EssentialHummus · 03/04/2017 22:32

Loving it but goodness, Dr Tanya... you are an attractive woman, why on earth have you caked on such an incredible quantity of makeup??

I also came on to say this.

MissisBee · 03/04/2017 22:35

They're all the same age now as I was when it started. Fascinating to see how they've grown up and how different teenage life is now. Agree Eve has the coolest dad ever. I thought they were going to say the diabetic boy had died, glad to see how he's turned things around

MissisBee · 03/04/2017 22:37

Also amazed at how long Rhianna's parents' marriage lasted in the end

SoMuchToBits · 03/04/2017 22:38

Thank you, Don't. I have lovely memories of going to their house as a child (across the road from me) and making peg dolls with Matthew's mum, while her mum (the lovely gran) supervised us.

I remember the gran calling everyone "honey" (this was in 1968!) as the family had been living in the US for a few years.

FernetBranca · 03/04/2017 22:41

I had very mixed feelings about it. I loved how the children were all in the process of becoming their own person. But it was quite uneven. The influence of their parents still held such sway in different ways - from the twins, with their jam packed schedule of stuff that was still probably the same as what they were doing at 12 (cello, choir) to Charlie, whose mum hoped she didn't have a baby till she was 21.

Not dissing the parents, BTW - some of them have always seemed lovely, and now seemed a bit wearier but still great.

JustDanceAddict · 03/04/2017 22:42

Agree re Rihanna's dad. What a waster.
