shirley has the best one liners and Kim can be funny ( when she isnt being mean about things) I havent taken to Carmel , but she could be made to be a bit more fun - an episode abroad would be good. They went to Spain in the 90s and it was pretty funny ( phil and a few others)
i wonder what will become of the Vic now? i bet that when linda and mick return they will not be at all happy!

Any lawyers about? What happens when Linda and Mick find out signatures have been forged. Is the contract void? Surely Shirley can go to prison again for this. Its fraud.

Dog insurance - as far as I can tell the dog has only just been diagnosed with this even if he has been ill for a while. Pre existing illnesses are declared on the insurance or are illnesses they have already paid out for. Not something newly diagnosed.

not sure, but guessing that it is fraud - it must be. Shirley will go back to being a bad girl again.
They did mumble something at the vets about lady Di's illness - but as it was just a means to an end ( so Shirley would sell the freehold) i guess they glossed over that too!

It was implied at the vet was that Lady Di had the condition for some time and it was known about. I guess it was during a previous policy year during the time she vanished and was not in the series at all and now excluded from this one.

Shirley said dog at vets already, so means the bill will start so later if finds out how much this is not a good idea, it will be to late.
Think Dog had illness from very young they just never told anyone.

yes, i suppose so. The Carters are the Vic though, without them being there to organise themed nights and quizzes, there will not be much point to be them being around anyway., Sausage has a slim chance of a job, the others dont have much to offer, although Woody could go back to Elaine's pub. Once Alfie and Kat moved out they soon went out of it altogether! If its turned into a Big Aldi, they could all work there i suppose. Whitney on the tills, Tracey and shirley on the shelve filling, Mick doing the trollies and Linda on admin.

The whole show could be set inside the aldi... an out of left field change of format for the viewers of this day an age.... It'll be a bit like Acorn antiques but not a Spoof.

The mini mart would have to go - maybe there would be other little shops in the complex too, a dry cleaners or health food store that Honey could work in. Lots of stories about missing trollies - new managers employed ( Max and Lauren?) and Denise on the deli.

I did notice the Costco card though.

I think there is a certain amount of brand names that the BBC can show in a programme but they can't be paid for it. It's Product Prominence

poor sausage - deemed too boring, nobody that interested in him, no sign of any kind of job outside the pub - his finals disturbed by falling roofs poorly dogs pooing everywhere and mountains of debt - even rejected by that murderer Ben mitchell! He needs a bit of a boost I think! ( but he needs to avoid this thread)
will have to look up what an All saints tee shirt is - nothing to do with the 90s pop group i suppose?

A character can wear clothes from one place. They have to get their clothes from somewhere and a person preferring some shops over others is realistic. I've recognised clothes people have worn on shows. So long as they don't have the brand name visible.
