Maybe there are new writers or the producer is trying new things or something? it seems a different soap these days.

The good thing about the non stories is that i don't really care if I watch it or miss it anymore. In fact from today I have cancelled recording it and as my kids go to bed around that time, I think I'm done.

Its a shame its losing viewers, but i can see why really.

Yes agree about stopping story threads, when new people take over. Like Denise no job for Months yet no problem. But when she was working part time and climbing carers for Patrick she had steal food to survive!
Linda and lee would gone to funeral, Linda's mum would cooed fee hours fine.
No way million years Donna late 30s nice home gave it up gritty student pad. She could just got lodger for her own nice flat second bedroom and then half rent!

The writing is very bad at the moment.
The storylines are very bad at the moment.
Much of the acting is very bad at the moment.

He did it in 7 hours, he was with a friend that had hurt his leg I think and I read they also stopped for ice cream! Good on him

According to google it was his son Sam not his friend. His son was in a coma last year after being hit by a car! His son looks exactly like him. Although not like Ian Beale. Weirdly. And fortunately.

With exception of Max ( who has been disappointing lately) there are not enough baddies in it just now - characters like Janine and Michael Moon kept us guessing - Babe was irritating but a evil mastermind - good at manipulation and making you hate her, same as Nick Cotton.
Also people would be a bit more worried about repairing the kitchen and roof rather than a dog, however loved the animal was. Too many things happening to the Carters and nobody else too. I think that Donna moving in with Jay and Ben is just to centralise a few of the characters to provoke more stories which then go nowhere!

Linda has spent the last week walking, cuddling and hiding in sheds with Lady Di looking sad and everyone she bumps into says she "pretends not to care about that dog"

Some of the acting is awful at the moment, reminds me of A level drama, especially the Carters- Sausage, Twit and Blue Lee. It's a shame because there are some fantastic actors who aren't getting a chance to shine.

Tinkly laugh of Whitney's, yes! Abby's laugh is almost as irritating.

Max does not make a good baddy, but he may yet, or not... Haven't watched the episode tonight, but it doesn't sound promising.

I can't believe Donna would move in with two men of that age. Though I'm influenced by when I shared a stident house for a year with just boys. Apart from one vaguely tidy person, cleanliness and hygiene just not on the agenda (they kept bacteria pets in a scullery sink!)

Basically they fell out because Lauren is grumpy and Abby is having fun.

i cant make out how any of them are living in the Vic just now, everyone needs an area to make a cup of tea at least - you dont see them nipping out the Vic kitchen downstairs doing food even! Is Woody living there too? who would whilst its in such a mess?
Blue Lee was obviously struggling a bit with his lines - made me laugh. Bex, louise and the horrible bullies are better at acting than he seems to be. I still cant believe that Jane would spend so much time in the pub when her husband has his own cafe she could go in for a drink, or even beales!
Denise and Kush, getting a bit silly and i like them. how did Tina think she would drum up 8 k from the market and the mini mart? she might have more luck on a crowdfunding site on line.. Shirley will be flamed big time by Linda and Mick if she does Max's dodgy dealings. Linda doesnt like her much as it is.
