IMDb also has all the rest of the S4 cast just for 3 episodes, including Ros, husband, Jodie, beardy policeman.
IMDb have been briefed not to give the game away. Ever hopeful!

tribpot · 10/04/2017 09:35

Yes, IMDB only had Thandie listed for Episode 1 after Ep 1, so as not to give away the fact she survived the whole chopping up incident.

Ferrisday · 10/04/2017 09:37

Except Tim, who must be in flashback clips

And Buckells, but he was in previous episodes.

Ferrisday · 10/04/2017 09:38

Thank you tribpot. Evidence for my theory!

whatsthecomingoverthehill · 10/04/2017 09:43

I'm thinking now that Ros didn't kill Tim. If she did there's a certain level of heartlessness in her interview of Hana that I don't quite believe.

LovelyBaubles · 10/04/2017 10:02

I'm not sure that buckles is a baddie...

PollyPerky · 10/04/2017 10:03

On Twitter last night the BBC tweeted that Steve wasn't dead. Not sure how true that is because 'Steve' also tweeted 'it's been a pleasure' (ie working on LOD.)

tribpot · 10/04/2017 10:19

Well his Tweet was slightly ambiguous. He said "Huge thanks to everybody tuning in again tonight been a pleasure #LineOfDuty4" - so he could have meant live tweeting the episode rather than his involvement at all. That said, he did also have a hilarious exchange with Keeley Hawes after he said "Loving all your Balaclava Man suspects, personally I wouldn't bet i against @Misskeeleyhawes and Denton appearing zombie style" - she replied "I'm saying nothing".

Equally The Blacklist appeared to kill off a major character last season and on Twitter and in the media generally it was treated as if that character really had died. They kept the fact the character was still alive very closely under wraps.

Ferrisday · 10/04/2017 10:19

There's really no way that Ros didn't kill Tim. I think it would just be stretching it too much to involve someone else at that stage.

Either to kill him or for cleanup

Ferrisday · 10/04/2017 10:21

If she's innocent of any corruption and she killed him in self defence- waking up to find him about to dismember her- she could still have called it in.
She's hiding something bigger, so had to cover her tracks.

tribpot · 10/04/2017 10:22

I did wonder though whether Hana had been involved - it seems like she was confused about why Ros was interviewing her after they'd made some agreement about what to say? I will go back and re-watch that part. The text that 'Tim' sent to Hana telling her not to come in - would Ros have known who was outside the door? (Or did Hana text Tim asking why she couldn't get in?)

PollyPerky · 10/04/2017 10:31

I think Ros sent a text from Tim's flat telling Hana not to come in as she was busy dealing with his dead body. She used his phone which has not been found (along with this clothes.)

Deadsouls · 10/04/2017 10:38
Shock
Deadsouls · 10/04/2017 10:39

Just watched on catch up
🙏 For Steve

LovelyBaubles · 10/04/2017 10:44

I've been wondering about the hana/Tim timeline
Hannah gets kidnapped. Ifield is on the scene.
Ifield goes to the cafe and hana doesn't seem to recognise him, they talk about cleaning. And then Ifield is killed. Later we found out that hana is also a prostitute, Tim is a client and has been to her flat. When did this happen? I'm not sure of the time line but seems a bit suss to me.

mugglebumthesecond · 10/04/2017 11:05

I think Roz did have Some sort of an agreement with Hana hence the 5k cash being found. But I also think that her husband has been using prostitutes and now she wants to set Hana up as revenge.

POOR STEVE but I'm sure he will liveSmile

Got to say after a shaky start TN is doing a great job as Roz

CauliflowerSqueeze · 10/04/2017 11:19

It can't be Nick who killed Steve. He would hardly keep a special black outfit and baseball bat on hand to murder someone among the packing boxes and be able to change out of his suit in 6 seconds.

Whywaitfortomorrow · 10/04/2017 11:31

Cauliflower I agree

Lovelybaubles, I have been wondering that myself.

I'm now going to have to watch it again !!

CoolCarrie · 10/04/2017 11:32

Could the guy who attacked Steve turn out to be the security man who opened the door to him? Was there more that one lift? He couldn't have run up the stairs in time.

whatsthecomingoverthehill · 10/04/2017 11:35

Reason I'm not sure about Ros killing Tim is that surely it would have been easier for her to call it in and claim self defence. After all, he's the one in the boiler suit with all the kit ready to dismember her etc. It looks far worse for her to be trying to cover it all up, unless he was alive when she left, or something else happened in that flat other than her struggling back and killing him.

mistermagpie · 10/04/2017 11:36

I was confused by the Tim/Hana timeline too. I initially assumed that the evidence suggesting Tim had been in Hana's flat was planted by Ros (the way she tampered with the other evidence), but did they say it was his semen? In which case it must have been him.

Did we hear what Ros told her husband about how she hurt her arm? I can't remember but he seemed to know about the injury.

Where did new cop Jamie come from? Is it normal in the police for a new member of staff to just appear without prior discussion about vacancies and recruitment etc? Particularly in a team like AC12 where the vetting would need to be significant...

PollyPerky · 10/04/2017 11:36

Surely the clue to who hit Steve is who else knew he was there? as far as we know only his copper mates knew. No one in the building knew he was on his way until moments before he arrived and Nick only knew seconds before when he listened to his phone.

Whywaitfortomorrow · 10/04/2017 11:37

Unless more potential evidence planting of Ifield DNA at Hana's flat.

Maybe there will be another murder which will throw a spanner in the works if Ifield dead and Farmer locked up.

If Steve survives that I'll jump a shark myself.

Whywaitfortomorrow · 10/04/2017 11:40

Pollyperky, very good 'basic coppering' Grin

ppandj · 10/04/2017 11:50

Shock I've just caught up! I thought this series was a bit slow to start but now I'm hooked.
