Ah ok, so there was no KRG-30. I'm a few minutes behind.

FeralBeryl · 02/04/2017 21:40

Would there not be cctv in evidence locker receptions?

ButtonMooooon · 02/04/2017 21:41

She's obviously going to destroy or tamper with the wrong piece of evidence, 13/30 sounding similar. I am behind so this may already have happened!!!

Notyetthere · 02/04/2017 21:43

Feral I was wondering that. It can't be that easy to fuff about with evidence.

TheHiphopopotamus · 02/04/2017 21:51

Arnott's on to her!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 02/04/2017 21:59

Fantastic episode ! Gripped.

Notyetthere · 02/04/2017 22:00

Nicely done TN

TheHiphopopotamus · 02/04/2017 22:00

I need to watch that again. That'll teach me for trying to watch it while pissing about on my phone.

Did Huntley plant the evidence linking Ifield to the killer?

Roomba · 02/04/2017 22:04

This episode looked to me as if it were filmed using different film to previous episodes - the lighting etc looked really different? Or is my TV just playing tricks on my brain? It kept distracting me while I was watching it. Am I mad?

FeralBeryl · 02/04/2017 22:04

Yes Hiphop or that's what we're expected to believe. She took an extra swab from the bloody clothes in her boot and we didn't know what for...

Hopefully our little pitbull Steve will continue to look into her

The Super isn't going to be happy if she's been reinstated Angry

CoolCarrie · 02/04/2017 22:05

What was the cause of Tim's death? I couldn't see as our huge dog walked in front on tv! Was it a neck wound?

tribpot · 02/04/2017 22:05

She had two samples she took from her murder bag (presumably containing Tim's severed fingers and so on). She asked the forensics officer on the body parts case to look again for foreign DNA and then without explanation Tim's DNA turns up.

Why is AC-12 trying to investigate a murder case? Outside their scope, surely? They may suspect Tim's murder is linked to him being a whistleblower but wouldn't they insist on the murder being investigated by an outside force? They're not experts.

CoffeeAndOranges · 02/04/2017 22:06

Bit of an odd idea to try and make it look like Ifield did it? Why would he raise concerns about Farmer being wrongly accused if he was the actual killer? Surely it would be in the killer's interest to have someone accused and charged.

This is good fun but not very plausible. Not seen any other LoDs but would like to now!

tribpot · 02/04/2017 22:06

CoolCarrie - yes, a neck wound that was quite shallow. At various points they said he would have taken a long time to die (grim) and that the wound may show the intent was not to kill.

TheHiphopopotamus · 02/04/2017 22:07

Thought so, thanks Beryl

Will need to rewatch that I think. Can't feel too bad about her killing Ifield, it was her or him.

Reckon Farmer is going to be proven innocent but will commit suicide in prison before he's released.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 02/04/2017 22:07

Another one who is going to have I watch it again

I get sidetracked by researching Hmm

hackmum · 02/04/2017 22:07

She might simply be trying to make it look as if Ifield used prostitutes, thus making him a bit of a dodgy character.

TheHiphopopotamus · 02/04/2017 22:10

Thought the thing with removing the fingers was vair clever, even though a bit gruesome.

buggerthebotox · 02/04/2017 22:10

I don't get why Hastings turned up at the murder scene? And why was Steve the first to gain access? Surely he should have called for the murder squad?

And what was that conversation between Ted and Buckells down an alley all about?

Roomba · 02/04/2017 22:10

Ignore me above, I suspect DS has changed a setting on my TV hence the difference in film appearance Blush.

tribpot · 02/04/2017 22:12

Ted was warning Buckells not to out Kate, as he knows she is AC-12. But I think it's surely too compromising to leave her undercover.

FeralBeryl · 02/04/2017 22:12

I reckon Steve called Hastings to the murder scene maybe?

tribpot · 02/04/2017 22:15

Did Steve call Hastings after Thandie pulled rank to take charge of the investigation? It happened very soon after but not clear how much time had elapsed.

Purpleprickles · 02/04/2017 22:18

Hello just jumping on the thread to ask if anyone else didn't think it fitted with Ted's character and previous series to put Steve forward for inspector over Kate Angry

MistyMinge · 02/04/2017 22:26

Hoe did she manage to plant dna evidence on the dismembered body of the prostitute?

Was ifield actually involved in the murders? Odd how he happened to have a balaclava and black bomber jacket hanging around.

I think he didn't like someone being framed as it was him. Why did he visit the cafe to see the girl who escaped otherwise?
