We didn't see him drive away but it was a block of flats so he possibly didn't know which flat she had gone into. The doorbell was ringing constantly but I am not sure if that was the design of it or if she kept pressing it. It did seem to go on for a while but not sure if that's just because it was irritating!!

FeralBeryl · 31/03/2017 17:21

Tim didn't want to let TN in to his flat because one of the rooms had a load of work pinned up all over the walls.
He could be stalking someone or conducting his own investigation into the fire.
Reminded me of Carrie on Homeland Smile

DispatchReady · 31/03/2017 21:02

Good investigative work Button GrinI really need to rewatch too.

ButtonMooooon · 31/03/2017 21:26

Thanks Dispatch Wink

I also noticed the stray hair others noticed last time when I thought he was just looking at her healing ear!!

cushioncovers · 01/04/2017 10:15

I actually genuinely love Adrian Dunbar and I love Ted Hastings. He's so noble. I live in fear that his character will be unmasked as the most ultra-corrupt of the lot of them. I'd sob.

Me too

cushioncovers · 01/04/2017 10:16

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks TN is a shit actress.

She's ruining it for me at the moment Sad

buggerthebotox · 01/04/2017 11:30

Is she a shit actress or is she playing a part that isn't particularly sympathetic? I've never seen her in anything else.

She doesn't seem to be connecting; she's coming across as a one-trick pony-distant, cold and humourless.

To be fair, many of the actors in this are pretty well-established but are not remotely "starry". Even Keeley Hawes, who's done so much.

I'm missing herSad.

TheHiphopopotamus · 01/04/2017 12:24

I feel I've got to stick up for Thandie Newton a bit. She was fecking amazing in Westworld, especially as most of the acting she did left her a bit, er, 'exposed' (fans of WW will know what I mean Grin).

Besides which, I never really rated Keeley Hawes. Until I saw her in Line Of Duty where she absolutely excelled herself and now I feel Denton was a legendary character, but it wasn't until later episodes that I began to feel that way.

I think that if TN's character sticks around, I'll have the same thoughts about her. That's partly the beauty of LoD. We can swing between hating and loving a character in the space of five minutes.

buggerthebotox · 01/04/2017 12:34

Mmm....I think I see what you mean, thehip. I'm trying my best to take to her. And I agree that Hawes has really made Denton her own.

She is sooooo slim and elegant though (TN, that is). Apparently only 5'3"! How does she do it? I though she was about 6'.

I'm a bit Envy I think.

NotYoda · 01/04/2017 12:41

Loads of clunky unrealistic dialogue

Hoping it will get better

QueenieGoldstein · 01/04/2017 21:10

Westworld really showed TN at her best and I agree about KH too, through Denton she showed what an amazing actress she is.

Yellowbird54321 · 01/04/2017 22:38

Have just caught up with this thread and am camping out here ready for tomorrows episode! Also applying to join the Noble Ted fan club which is emerging here - he's just so........good Halo

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 01/04/2017 23:04

Attention all Noble Ted fans:

Can Adrian Dunbar get any more attractive?
I now discover the lovely man can sing, as well as act so magnificently...

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 01/04/2017 23:06

Anyone interested in starting a Noble Ted/ Adrian Dunbar appreciation splinter thread?!

hollyisalovelyname · 02/04/2017 10:20

Quick synopsis of first episode please.
I thought I had set the recorder but it didn't record.
I'm not in the UK so I have no BBC player 😢
I went to record tonight's episode to see that it is actually set to record. So why didn't it record last week. Grrrr

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 02/04/2017 10:58

Searching around for a recap on the internet to saving me typing I found out that the bloody Telegraph have put up their episode 2 recap a day early! Do not google Line Of Duty Recaps

NormaSmuff · 02/04/2017 11:03

bad luck.
i always go with the guardian recaps

NormaSmuff · 02/04/2017 11:05

www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2017/mar/26/line-of-duty-recap-series-two-episode-one
it has a warnign as well in italics

stonecircle · 02/04/2017 13:17

Marilyn - thanks for the link. He obviously likes his folk music. I spotted him at a Christy Moore concert a couple of years ago. I presume he's used to women walking past him very slowly with a stupid expression on their faces .... Blush

buggerthebotox · 02/04/2017 13:50

I read the Telegraph spoiler too. Sad. Didn't mean to but too late. Can't unread it!

Interesting point on that Guardian thread about Hilton driving the same car as Hubby. I didn't notice that.

MarilynWhirlwindRocks · 02/04/2017 14:19

Roll on, tonight's episode...
(though, frankly, a lot of theories on this thread are equally as entertaining).

stone,

Wink Grin

ktel1 · 02/04/2017 14:58

Thanks for the warning about the Telegraph- that's really incompetent of them.

CoolCarrie · 02/04/2017 15:03

Remember Adrian Dunbar in Hear My Song, excellent film

FeralBeryl · 02/04/2017 20:47

Are we all sitting comfortably?
Have you done a big wee? Grin

growingseeds · 02/04/2017 20:59
