Starts this Thursday 8pm on BBC2. Will fill the Interior Design gap nicely

OP posts:

Cor that's a bit harsh, I think it was totally genuine that Ryan was going to miss Freya, the tears were for real.

NotYoda · 19/03/2017 07:52

I also disagree Golden I think he lurves her

SoupDragon · 19/03/2017 08:26

I think Freya inspired Ryan because he is very controlled with his pottery and she is far more free and "wing it"

I imagine they all get quite close after the time spent on the programme. At least that is how it appears to be on this, the Sewing bee and bake off.

GoldenGumballs · 19/03/2017 10:15

Sorry that was harsh! Yes Soup dragon there was so much mutual respect there and ok he could love herWink I miss Elaine her designs were lovely. Ryan is by far the best potter left.

MrsJamin · 23/03/2017 16:58

Anyone else so sad this is ending?! I hope this isn't the last series!

SapphireStrange · 23/03/2017 17:02

Yes! I'll really miss it, especially with no Sewing Bee in sight to fill the gap. and I'll miss hot Ryan

NotYoda · 23/03/2017 19:17

... yes, and the Painting thing has also finished. I will miss all these programmes with talented people doing things I can't do Sad

JamesDelaneysHat · 23/03/2017 20:05

Here we go! I think Ryan may win.

SoupDragon · 23/03/2017 20:26

Yes, I think I like the design of his light the best. I guess it depends on whether there are disasters.

Clovers bees look like bats!

CoffeeAndOranges · 23/03/2017 20:34

"I really like your tool Ryan"

SoupDragon · 23/03/2017 20:38

His turtle's head last week was also magnificent.

WhereBeThatBlackbirdTo · 23/03/2017 20:39

Goodness!

JamesDelaneysHat · 23/03/2017 20:41

I'm on a 5 min delay. I've just seen what you're all agog at!!

SoupDragon · 23/03/2017 20:51

Did Kate tell Richard he was well hung?

Akire · 23/03/2017 20:53

Yes and he was trying not laugh!

TheSpottedZebra · 23/03/2017 20:55

So - who will win?
I say... Richard.

I have no idea actually.

TheSpottedZebra · 23/03/2017 20:56

Oh!

SoupDragon · 23/03/2017 20:56

I think Ryan deserved that win.

But Clover's Russian dolls are still my favourite make of the series.

TheSpottedZebra · 23/03/2017 20:56

I'm loving Sara's stripey top/ pleated skirt combo.

TheSpottedZebra · 23/03/2017 20:57

Those Russian dolls were exquisite.

TheSpottedZebra · 23/03/2017 20:59

Wow, Elaine is doing an internship with Kate Malone!

I actually liked her and Nam the best.

EsmesBees · 23/03/2017 21:42

I think Ryan deserved the win too. I enjoyed that series. I've never had the least bit of interest in pottery but it made for strangely compelling telly.

Heinousfauxpas · 23/03/2017 22:42

I felt sad for Clover but Ryan was a worthy winner. Clover's bee based lights looked a bit too heavy/strange (not in a good way) which was such a shame after her amazing Russian Doll set. It's great that Elaine has got an internship with Jo Malone. I really felt the week she went, that Richard should have been the one to go.

I'm minus anything to watch now that Call the Midwife, the painting challenge and this have now ended and no Sewing Bee to look forward to. And Bake Off a weird and unpleasant prospect with Noel Fielding on board.

SapphireStrange · 24/03/2017 09:49

Really pleased for Ryan. He was the best on the day, although I like Clover a lot too and agree her Russian dolls were the best thing of the whole series.

Anyone else think Ryan's beloved nan didn't seem all that arsed about him winning? 'I'm holding the trophy.' 'Are you dear?' 'Yes, I've won.' 'Oh that's nice, love...' Grin
