Starts this Thursday 8pm on BBC2. Will fill the Interior Design gap nicely

I like this programme but I felt that the lady who left was setup to fail from the beginning, so it was completely obvious she would. I felt they were so patronising to her which made me a bit cross.

AradiasDaughter · 06/02/2017 22:27

So the guy from Despicable Me has already started crying. I understand he's passionate but my god. Get a grip Man!

ineedamoreadultieradult · 07/02/2017 22:24

I've found you. DH thinks I'm bonkers for liking this show. I'm not even really a fan of pottery but there is something about the show that keeps me hooked.

gaggiagirl · 07/02/2017 22:34

Oh I love this show. I find it so soothing and satisfying to watch, and I live for Keith's tears!

SapphireStrange · 08/02/2017 15:26

the guy from Despicable Me

I love this show. I have had it sitting waiting to watch. Loved Clover and Freya's Jugs. Coit is too excitable. I always perceived pottery to be peaceful.

Fontella · 09/02/2017 15:00

Tonight's the night!

Can't wait.

PurpleDaisies · 09/02/2017 15:01

Me too!

Fontella · 09/02/2017 15:08

I've got a third of a bottle of a nice red in the cupboard that I have been saving since the weekend. Enough for a big glass, so I am going to pour that, put my feet up and enjoy!

TheSpottedZebra · 09/02/2017 20:03

Innuendo ready?

TheSpottedZebra · 09/02/2017 20:05

I want some nice clock / time related brass band tracks today.
I vote Cindy Lauder Time after Time. That'd work in brass. Jolly.

Brillig · 09/02/2017 20:14

Cunning idea to base your pottery on the theme of 'urban collapse'....

Just how much innuendo and puns can you get put of pulling handles!

gaggiagirl · 09/02/2017 23:28

I would feel all rude pulling a handle

PurpleDaisies · 09/02/2017 23:29

Oh me too gaggia. Quite a few of them were looking a bit sheepish when they were pulling their handles.

dailymaillazyjournos · 10/02/2017 17:12

Brilling I agree. Hard to fail with a theme like this. Doesn't matter if it's full of cracks, holes, unjoined joins etc - just put it down to how it's meant to reflect the idea of a decaying urban landscape. Nice one.

I loved Ryan's clock. And the patchwork one (can't remember the woman's name ) as well as Freya's. Some very creative designers this time round.

I love TGPS even though my one and only attempt at pottery at school resulted in a blob of clay careering off the wheel and over the low partition separating the art area from the science one! Same goes with Bake Off and Sewing Bee. Am hopeless at all these things but love the programmes.

Davros · 11/02/2017 13:44

I also noticed the music choices, quite unusual Hmm. I love all these programmes, this format speaks to me whatever the skill - none of which I have!

Anyone else watching tonight?

Brontebiscuits · 16/02/2017 20:28

I am! Love Japanese style pottery.

Brontebiscuits · 16/02/2017 20:29

I find Cait (is that her name, the Scottish one?) so irritating!

bagpackbagpack · 16/02/2017 20:32

It's my new bake off, briefly watched it last year. But hooked this year! Have a few to catch up on so haven't read the full thread, just saw it pop up in active.

About to go to bed and stick the tv on for an hour. I know what I am watching now!

TheSpottedZebra · 16/02/2017 20:33

I'm watching, but not as hooked this year.

bagpackbagpack · 16/02/2017 20:33

I hope the sewing bee comes back this year too!

Brillig · 16/02/2017 20:43

I heard that Sewing Bee might not be coming back Sad
