Starting this one as I finished last one...

So, Daniela I think will win as it looks like it's been written/plotted that way since the beginning..

I don't think Daniela is either outstandingly good or bad - she's fine, she's okay.

That's why the mega enthusiasm of the judges is so weird.

The first time she appeared, Daniel and Kelly bigger her up so much, I thought - 'Does she know them?' - it was just like ridiculous.

But here she is in the final - quelle surprise!

Saw it coming from her first appearance and it had nothing to do with her design - and everything to do with what the judges were signalling in the voiceover.

'Hey viewers, Daniela is good, good good...'

Bit brainwashy without ever really explaining why she is better than the others.

I don't think she's bad - but there is not enough discernible difference to justify the bigging up that she gets.

Written in the stars eh?

I can't stand the chair patterns. I like the toile-et print, but there's just far too much.
Calling it maximalist doesn't mean it's ok.

Last years nice judge used to balance out that odd male one, but KH and him together just irritate me so much.

Oliver did go a bit back to the 80s there but with a much lighter hand than I remember the Laura Ashleytastic decade! Not a swag in sight.

Those cushion covers look very badly made.

The before picture was horrific, sorry. It could hardly fail to be better, though it's a bit pub-like. Maybe inevitable given the cottage-y room...

Loved Nicholas's dining room. Oliver's dining room would have been nice, but that wallpaper really let it down. It would have been fine on one wall, but all over and with similar curtains, was WAY too much![shock

I'm not so keen on Nicholas's sitting room though. It's a bit bland and boring. Let's see what Oliver's done...

That's just my style. I like it! The judges won't though, there isn't enough hot pink or copper.

What is the accent that the homeowner lady has? Kiwi?

I'm obviously team Oliver, I much prefer this living room
