Starting this one as I finished last one...

So, Daniela I think will win as it looks like it's been written/plotted that way since the beginning..

I don't think Daniela is either outstandingly good or bad - she's fine, she's okay.

That's why the mega enthusiasm of the judges is so weird.

The first time she appeared, Daniel and Kelly bigger her up so much, I thought - 'Does she know them?' - it was just like ridiculous.

But here she is in the final - quelle surprise!

Saw it coming from her first appearance and it had nothing to do with her design - and everything to do with what the judges were signalling in the voiceover.

'Hey viewers, Daniela is good, good good...'

Bit brainwashy without ever really explaining why she is better than the others.

I don't think she's bad - but there is not enough discernible difference to justify the bigging up that she gets.

Written in the stars eh?

I really like that blue wallpaper of Nicholas's. I can't imagine ever being brave enough to have it, but it's fab, IMO.

I do love Kelly's clothes.

I'd have that wallpaper in a downstairs loo or hall, not where you'd have to see it for hours at a time but would inject a bit of fun into your day.

Desolate I said that upthread, then realised there's only 14 years difference in ages.....but yes! It's really quite striking.

Do I remember it correctly- did someone say that the rooms are redecorated afterwards if homeowners really don't like it?

Ugh, I do hope that they get rid of that horrible orange wood railings.

Well that's decided it for me. Nicholas is too waspy by half so I am now on team Oliver.

I would have all of that.

I wouldn't have that in my house but I love what he's done. Compared to before it's transformed it.

Why does the Nicholas dining room remind me of a gastro pub?

Despite being on team Oliver I like that dining room.

Whilst I like the blue look (and that wallpaper is very similar to the one I have), I think it needs some other colour in there- the lamps could have been a different colour.

Oh lord. That is a bit OTT.

I don't hate Nicholas' dining room. But it looks like a Wetherspoons.

I'm afraid Oliver's room looks to me like a big toile de Jouy womb. Noooooooooo!

Those curtains need to go- they are just too big and heavy for those tiny windows. And what's with the too long look where they are wiping the floor? Just why?

Looks like he went mad in Laura Ashley! Too matchy matchy.

Ooooh that's a bit much of the same pattern for me.

That man judge just said about Nicholas' dining room that it was too 'well behaved' and he would have 'chucked a naughty colour in.'

So they DO just want it all mismatched!

I could not live with all that matching pattern - it is way over the top and looks really claustrophobic to me.

But I like all of today's rooms much better than any of yesterday's.
