I find it more amusing that Stacey has killed someone yet can't talk to her sil about the heating being too highGrin.

LineyReborn · 03/01/2017 20:03

The writers have created Michelle out of every AIBU MIL and SIL that there ever was.

You're right, Dilkington, it just doesn't work with Stacey. She'd lay her out. Someone like Sharon would be better.

CorporalNobbyNobbs · 03/01/2017 20:03

Was wondering the same MrD - no one I know knows anyone's address anymore even when they are mates!

VodkaJelly · 03/01/2017 20:05

I am really impressed with Jack / Scotts acting, it is the most realistic crying I have ever seen, no screaming, gurning, loud sobs etc, just sorrow and normal crying. My heart actually aches for him

choccyfiend78 · 03/01/2017 20:06

Was it just me who nearly spit their drink when witless was saying she had never asked for anything?! She was constantly on at lee to get a house, etc when she thought he had a fantastic job!

LineyReborn · 03/01/2017 20:08

Yeah, I thought that Wit was being a tad disingenuous there, but Lee was being so dull I instantly forgave her.

DearMrDilkington · 03/01/2017 20:10

choccy I know! I thought the same. She kept going on and on at him to find them a flat, I could never understand why she didn't get another job to help pay for any of it.

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:11

Jack has surpassed my expections. Been really good and Max too. Actually impressed so far.
Been very sad.
Whitless has a short memory - who wanted most of the things ?

LineyReborn · 03/01/2017 20:12

She wanted Lee's dad at one point as well.

Is this supposed to be character complexity or shit writing?

Akire · 03/01/2017 20:15

I like way didn't blurry it out fast guess day 3 everyone will know. Jack acting was very good. I pulled a face at Whitney too she one banging on and on about own place when didn't have any savings at all. Eat your words woman!

Agree Stacey is going have major bust up with Martin over Chelle into arms of Max? Mind you with Lee going off boil and Linda away can't help seeing a Mik - Whitney cuddle up coming up

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:16

I think this business with new Chelle will make Stacey go back with Max!
( dont know anything bty, just a guess!)

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:23

Both Alice & Janine went to prison for a while over Michaels death. Alice was then found to be innocent and moved back to live with her mum away from the square. Janine somehow got off, the last we saw of her she was chatting up some bloke whilst waiting for the Eurostar to go to Paris. Janine was the best character, they really should bring her back!

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:24

Whitney is having a laugh, she wanted to buy a flat in Stratford 5 minutes ago!

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:25

Sharon knows Chelle is an imposter, she has hardly been near her bestie!

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:27

Sharon has been too busy shopping for her weddding outfit, she had to go all the way to 1984 to find itGrin

catinbooots · 03/01/2017 20:27

Funnily enough I saw Janine at Waterloo international a couple of months ago. Stomping along in enormous heels and dragging a wheely case

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:28

Catinboots, she's been waiting a bloody long time for that train!

SarcasmMode · 03/01/2017 20:29

Scott did really well tonight and so did Jake. I also found Steve (Phil) really heart wrenching.
Sunday's episode made me sad actually seeing Phil happy and being normal and jokey and knowing something was going to happen.

Michelle is a real PITA and a gold mine for AIBU bingo.

Jack knew about Carl as she told him that he tried to rape her and then she hit the boot on him.
Rich new too - think Phil told her? She was angry and was going to phone the police but Ronnie explained.
Phil knows as he sorted out Carls family.

Going to be a real emotional few weeks.
Glendale seemed sad but Danny didn't appear bothered. I know they weren't close but you'd think he'd care a little chip off his old Dads block?

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:32

Has janine been on tv in anything else? She did a christmas strictly a few years back, not seen her since in anything else.
1984! One of my better years ( and 86)
I want to lay out Chelle, myself. Was she that annoying before?
How did Lee know Ozs address?

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 03/01/2017 20:33

Is this character complexity or shit writing? That made me laugh. Grin

Whit so wishes she was married to Mick.. I think half the reason she stays with Lee is because she feels part of a big Carter family. If it wasn't for Mick they'd be up shit creek by now.

At least someone has ironed out Oz now. I agree, Lee had Oz's address to hand pretty quickly, shame he didn't go with his dad, they could have bonded over the ironing out.

Finally, little Matthew has woken up from his sleepathon upstairs. Harrowing scenes with Jack trying to tell the children. They looked so sweet in their pyjamas. Sad

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:34

Danny looked a bit bored by it all!
He isnt nice.

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:35

According to google she's been in loads of stuff but I've never heard of any of it. I think I remember her doing the jungle programme - didn't she win?

The80sweregreat · 03/01/2017 20:36

She did the jungle, my memory is awful these days.

nancy75 · 03/01/2017 20:38

80s, I watch so much crap telly it all blurs in to one jumbled memory!

ineedamoreadultieradult · 03/01/2017 20:39

Ooh it really gets me when people don't tell children that someone has died! She hasn't 'gone away'! He should of taken the police's offer of support in telling them. Must remember it's not real!
