I love Selasi so much. I really want him on my... telly again.

Disappointed she won. Not sure what it is about but she isn't very likable and I don't think her bakes were particularly special either.
I was hoping for Jane.

Val looks miserable being swept up in Selasi's arms! 😆

Really wanted Jane to win. Just found out that Candice teaches at our local secondary. Didn't make me want to root for her though.

I'm pleased that Candice won - I liked her. Any of them could have taken it though, they were quite well matched.

I'm gutted it's going to C4 though.

I liked Candice from the very start, which I know is unpopular on here!

I thought she always went beyond what was asked of her and her bakes looked amazing.

I'd love the recipe of the meringue crown she made.

I would like to a final programme with Mary and Paul having to produce a random selection of the bakes, in the tent conditions (same ovens, ambient temperature etc) in the same time (or maybe 10% less time as they are the experts). I would put money on them not producing perfect showstopper baking either.

I too am gutted it's moving. It just won't be the same.

I think Andrew seems extremely nice, I would certainly trust him. Not sure I would go out with him if I was 30 years younger though

I doubt any of us would have ever got the chance - is he not on the other bus?

Won't be watching on channel 4 though. This year just had no bite to it.

Was definately cheering for Jane but on the day I think Candace edged it. Does feel like the end of an era

It won't be the same at C4 and maybe C4 want it that way.
Just as well really...I won't be watching. There was more tension and excitement in earlier bake off episodes.
Tonight felt flat (and rushed) and not just because I was routing for Andrew.
I said last week either Andrew, or Candice to win (no offence to Jane).

If Paul is going over to C4 then it's just going to be more of the same (who ever he has a liking for will make it through). I have watched him for years on there and this is the first time it's been clear-as-day obvious to me. I've been blinkered .

Idk, I know it's only a baking programme but it just felt flat to me. So much for going out over with a bang!

Selasi. A series on that road trip I will watch.
If Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman can do it; Selasi can too.

Oh Candice deserved to win in the end. I know many didn't warm to her and as with Ruby, have slated her saying she's obviously having an affair with Hollywood, yuk but I quite liked her

Far too much raw pastry in the Final for me though, pretty disappointing. So long GBBO anyway
