I'm 24 and there's no way in hell I'd be doing this in two years. Unless it was for the attention/publicity, if I was that way inclined. But even then, surely it isn't worth the faff?

Yes, just thinking exactly the same - for a media career? Or just totally insecure. I do remember thinking I was old at 27 and 29 due to relationships ending. So, if that's happened ie future suddenly not what you thought, you might panic. And marry a stranger on tv!
